One of the recent movies has them going up against the Xenomorph and flying a rocket to and from a secret colony on the moon. While having the audacity to be pretty decent, on top of that.
- "Now we'll find out who this Oozaru really is!"
- "It's Old Man Vegeta! He must've thought that if he murdered us all, he could have the Dragonballs all to himself!"
- "And I would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you meddling humans! In fact, I'll get away with it anyway, weaklings!"
- "Oh shi-"

I'm still waiting for a scoody doo series to bring in an adult Redd Herring as a rival to fred. Maybe even bringing in other spin-off characters to form a rival mystery solving group.
So playing Xenoverse 2 has made me realize how the Movie villain concepts got alot better after Broly...
Like, Bojack, Janemba, and Hyrudigarn were much more believable concepts than ANOTHER surviving saiyan, or Freiza just HAPPENING to have a brother. Don't get me wrong, I loved the cooler movie (the ending in particular) but tying in a villain with the destruction of King Kais planet or the concept of purifying souls for reincarnation is a much more clever use of lore. A Nd hirudigarn was a type of foe DBZ could use more of, considering the oozarus have been a thing since the first arc and have only ever been beaten by cutting off their tail (how is it that they never had a villain display his power by taking out an oozaru without cutting the tail?) So why aren't they talked about as much or even featured in games as much? I don't think any game ever featured Bojacks full team.

I don't get it either. I suppose it has something to do with them being less marketable.
Which is a complete shame because Bojack's movie is genuinely really good and an excellent follow-up to the Cell saga.
Janemba's movie is also really entertaining. A really cool villain and an expansion on Vegeta's character.
Hirudegarn's movie just makes plot holes though.
They definitely need to do more with the characters though, especially with Janemba. Maybe Xenoverse 3...?

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeIsn't What's New Scooby Doo a sequel to A Pup Named Scooby Doo? Surprised Red never showed up there...
As for the memes, they started off as random DB memes that have accumulated over the years (Shaggy fighting Goku, Super Saiyan Rolf, Gohan Blanco, etc...) and for some reason, 4chan made a lore out of it using the Tournament of Power as a framing device.

See, I know janemba is alot like buu on the surface (childlike gooey demon that likes sweets that transforms into slimmer, more menacing form.) But considering kid buu came after that movie was already out, and janembas second form is only like super buu in terms of build I think he's more on the Dr.wheelo vs Gero side of movie villians.
I don't get how Broly is more marketable than SPACE PIRATES, but then again Pirates probably were in their out of fashion phase when the movie came out. So maybe it was just bad timing.
So does anyone thing Broly would have be more interesting if he was more like Goku black in terms of personality? Cause that's the sort of personality I could see making the whole "you kept me awake by crying when we were babies." motivation work. He should be a Petty lunatic, not a meat-headed bully.

Well that explains why its in Spanish.

I think its cause Bojack doesn't have a memorable personality or motivation. Like I remember his design but not much else. I mean as stupid as Broly's motivation is & how one-note his personality is you have to admit it is memorable.
Broly would be so much better without his stupid backstory and he was just a Genocidal Blood Knight.
No motivation or grand goal, but just somebody who wants to fuck shit up because he's a Saiyan and takes an interest in Goku for being the strongest Saiyan around besides himself.
Like Nappa, but with a dash of Perfect Cell in there. It's not exactly interesting or even original, but it's something.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
Tangent aside though, it would be nice to see a Potara fusion last for its full length, but nah, this is Dragon Ball, Kafla would probably burn through the magic in less than 15 minutes.
@slimcoder
If I recall it's mostly other Latin American fans making fun of other Latin American fans who have......unrealistic expectations of Gohan, to say the least.
He's apparently quite popular there.
The Shaggy and Rolf shit is just the cherry on top.
