Unless this arc is going for a Shocking Swerve, pretty sure those invisible fighters aren't going to do much to Jiren lol.
But yea, the fight was pretty good. Hit has a very unique moveset, so it makes all fights with him pretty entertaining. And at the very least, Jiren acknowledged he had to actually sorta try to defeat him.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. They don't have to do anything to Jiren. If no one can find them, they can't get eliminated so Quitela is probably just waiting for Goku to recover and for he and Jiren to beat each other up.
This song needs more love.Eh, the manga already did that with Hit being unable to affect beings vastly stronger than him with Time Skip. I'm fine with Jiren no selling it for the same reason.
I honestly don't know if he will. As has been pointed out before, Toriyama is a contrarian. If everyone thinks Goku is going to win, then he won't hesitate to have Goku lose just to screw with us.
On the other hand, after years of him pulling that shit, along with admitting he's a contrarian and will do what people don't expect (or try to at least) maybe enough people expect Goku to lose that he will win...
Which means there's a third option none of us have considered...except many have predicted a Double Knockout between Jiren and Goku as well.
So the only logical explanation is that the Zen-O's get bored and just decide to kill everyone anyway.
One Strip! One Strip! On a completely different note, I've figured out the source of Jiren's power:
Its' the power of no fucks given. He's not just crossing his arms to look cool. He's doing it to maximize his I don't give a shit power level.
The power of no fucks given is the greatest power of all! None can triumph over it.

You're probably right. He pre-wrote it, so the ending is likely already set in stone, and he can't change it. He can only write based on what he's already planning.

One Strip! One Strip!
Nope. Still cares too much, since she's determined to look like a delinquent.
Jiren really doesn't care about shit at all. Guy can't even be arsed to uncross his arms when he's punching your face in...that's right. He punches your face in without even using his hands.
That's a testament to both his power, and his lack of fucks given. The best you'll get from him is a strong glare...quite literally.

One Strip! One Strip!Nice try Hit. Seriously, nice try. You came within a foot of knocking Jiren out despite the difference in strength.
Ribrianne is pretty played out by this point I think. Vegeta was overwhelming her in base form there, which means the moment either he, Goku, or Freeza decide to get serious on her she's out.
Next episode: Saiyans who are not Goku! Cabba's turn to shine (and get totally beat up a lot by the looks of things).
Well, she was losing the will to fight and she wasn't Super Ribrianne. Remember that in 109, she was overwhelming Goku in Saiyan Beyond God without even going Super. She was probably just having a bad moment but she'll get back in there now that Rozie's helped her get her drive back.

The double knock out I've seen brought up a few times, because it's a really obvious third option.
Anyway, just seeing the episode Ribrianne and Rosie are just so annoying. What a waste of screentime, we've already seen Ribrianne's super form go out like a chump and without that she's got nothing. Get rid of her already.
It's funny calling this a worf for Hit when he did waaaaaay better than he should have. Toppo and Hit both make it sound like Jiren's not deliberately pulling his punches, so there's no way Hit should have been able to stand up to so many blows. His trick at the end was cool, and Jiren overpowering it, while often, was pretty nicely executed. Also a glimpse of some sort of standards from Jiren - he doesn't seem to approve of Assassins, which is fitting given his theme. I don't like him choosing to just fuck around after his fight with Hit, though. Your universe is still outnumbered! This is a terrible idea! It'd be better if they established him as being really injured and needing to recuperate.
The Namekians, though... fighting against Piccolo is so boring. They shouldn't be anywhere on his level (to say nothing of Gohan being there), Piccolo is meant to be exceptional and introducing two new Namekians who are similarly prodigious is just going to cheapen that. The manga version of Universe 6 even has Piccolo noted as being exceptional for a Namekian, so I hope they don't just drop that here.

I find it interesting that Quitela still seems to think the Invisibugs can clinch the win for him. Though that may just be Smug Snakery I suppose.
