I'm sure they'll talk about it at least a little but right now I'd settle for anything resembling a personality.
This song needs more love.Empty Shell could be an interesting twist on what Jiren has been so far.
Pathos, logos, something, anything.
There doing the same thing with Hit only making him more stoic & more badass-arm-folding. It was alright when they first did it with Hit but now its lazy cause you need fucking variety cause every rival can't be a stoic badass-arm-folder
Seriously he's a superhero, how can you fudge that up? The template has been refined & perfected for over 50 years.
Well that's something at least.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm looking around other websites and I see mixed opinions on Jiren, which means there are people that like him just from what they saw in the newest episodes. Some of their favorable interpretations are admittedly interesting, but they remain only that. I wish I could see the things these people did though.
If that was the intent, and it was brought across better, it'd be workable for me.
But that doesn't seem like the kind of thing to end up on a Sentai team.
I did find the idea of Jiren's personality being very amuable and his stoicness and lack of focus is just to hide that for the moment, but that's super unlikely.
I heard a theory recently that Jiren's wife was actually a part of the Pride Troopers and he wasn't, but then she died in battle and he took her place to honor he memory. Then, he trained himself to become incredibly strong so he could one day get a chance to avenge her.
Also, this would make his wish in the To P to bring her back to life.
...Yeah idk.
I was getting kefka/fear toxin joker vibes from that scene.... And here I thought he wouldn't be having any scary clown momments.
Really the only two hints we've had at Jiren as a character was the mental conversation he had with Bermuda.... and his reason for letting goku charge the Spirit Bomb. On one hand he comes off as someone indept or loyal to his Go D on the other he seems to have the same sort of respect for special moves that his other Pride troopers have.
My only theory so far is that originally The Pride Troopers were AGAINST the Go D of their world, and Jirens sheer power settled the fight and forced them to work together, and for that Jiren Became an honorary Pride Trooper and Bermudas sparing partner.
On a different note, I only noticed during this two parter, but what's going on with the Angels from eliminated universes, you'd think they'd have reacted to Gokus new form at least. I mostly noticed because I realized we haven't seen anything of Cus since she started mourning.

Man I hope we find out more about Jiren's backstory.
I'm even hoping they do the obligatory shonen antagonist backstory that can last for an episode or two.
