It's not just that they gave Gohan a track suit, but that he lost his gi, which is something a true martial artist wouldn't do.
In contrast, 18 isn't a devoted martial artist in the same way that Gohan is, and has no gi to lose.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!this leaves us with three options
- Perfect Cell, and thus the androids, were a lot stronger than we typically give them credit for and are closer to Buu's power level than originally thought
- The people in the tournament of power are a lot closer to the power level of the Androids than to Buu
- Super has no clue on what power scaling is
...i think I'm going to go with 3

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeAndroid 17 has done some very effective Level Grinding
I am procastrinating, but not excessively I think. That is up to the writing staff as they seem to focus on the other characters.
Or it could that he found some speedrunning trick that allows him to level grind in order to compete with gods.
I don't know if I entirely agree but considering how he handled Gohan post Buu.....

"Mai waifu."It's also worth noting that he has infinite stamina and only needs to drink water. He could constantly grind with only a few, quick breaks.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!
That's actually a very good point. 17 can push himself for much longer than Goku or any of the pure fleshies.
Beating up poachers would be insufficient training for them but...
...yeah, no. I lost it. I don't think it works.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm surprised no one's noticed, but do y'all remember the scene where after everyone thought Goku died, they were still approaching Jiren? They also showed their respective gods as well. Champa with Hit and Cabba, Mosco with Paparoni and the green bots, Helles with Ribrianne, and Quitela with... footsteps.
This isn't the first time these footsteps have been heard, as they were faintly heard when Hit first encountered Jiren when Kale was subdued. It's obvious who's making these footsteps, but the question is why are they doing this for THAT character?

Gohan has a tracksuit and glasses, though.
