At this point I don't think how strong Toppo is actually matters. Frankly, with Jiren apparently being this strong it brings up the question of what was the point of "conserving energy" all this time? He likely could have wiped out everyone else on the field without breaking a sweat. Not a lot of energy to be wasted by him.
Even against Goku he doesn't actually seem to be particularly hurt, even if that was because Goku ran out of time, it's still impressive.
Also, have to say, I'm glad this didn't turn into a Curb-Stomp Battle after the transformation.
Saiga beat me to it with his comment that Jiren might be waiting for a worthy opponent, but lets also consider that there are a lot of unknown variables at play in this tournament. Sure, we the audience know that pretty much no one can touch Jiren because he has a higher ki than anyone clearly, but Jiren, Toppo and the rest of Universe 11 don't know that. Conserving his energy for the latter parts of the battle while getting a feel for who the most dangerous players are ensures that when he goes on his justice rampage, he's rampaging at full health, without fear of any unknown quantities....
...is what I want to say, but we all know he did it because the plot said so.
One Strip! One Strip! There are more strategies here than taking out Jiren by the way. Despite having Jiren the Pride Troopers are very much in last place, so it's just as viable to try to knock out the next most dangerous people and then play keep-away from Jiren until the buzzer sounds, and the Pride Troopers would still lose.

That wouldn't work under basically any condition. The more powerful you are, the faster you are That's always how Dragon Ball's worked. As such, Jiren is not only the most powerful fighter there, he's also the fastest. There's no way most fighters could play keep away without being stronger than him.
Although now I'm curious if the entire point of the two guys from Universe 4 who are invisible/too small to see/whatever is to basically stay hidden so that no matter what else happens, they'll have at least two on until the end. So they're not even supposed to try and fight.

Not necessarily. They don't have to be planning on losing all their other members, just trying to do something that will drastically increase their odds of keeping at least two. It would be foolish to go into this whole thing expecting no one on your side to be rung out.
It's not a guarantee of anything, but it's fairly clever. Assuming that is what they're going for, that is.

I'm guessing the mundane descriptions for the next episodes are going to take on a more frantic and sinister tone now. Hit's probably going to hold off Jiren for an episode or two. Cabba "helping his team" is specifically stopping some of the other fighters from interfering in Hit and Jiren's battle. The U3 robots decide that Goku is too dangerous and take advantage of his weakened state to ko him. Caulifla and Kale step in to help Goku get back on his feet so he can fight Jiren. While all this is happening, Hit, Freeza, Gohan, Ribrianne, 17, and/or Vegeta are holding the line against Jiren the unstoppable force until Goku can recover enough to use Ultra Instinct again.
Ginyu is faster than Butta. Butta couldn't even see Goku's movements, unlike Ginyu who kept pace with Goku without even using his full power.
Dyspo may not be faster than Jiren, if he is it's not in a practical sense as he's linear enough that he can be reactex to. Jiren was able to strike SSB Goku multiple times without anyone seeing.
There are people who are particularly fast for their power, but speed is still linear with power as a general rule. And Jiren's waaaaay too powerful for anyone to stay away from him.
Some new toy leaks: a set of four new figures touted as the Tournament of Power Climax Arc.
They are Hit, Gohan, Ultra Instinct "Omen" Goku (both this figure and his new Dokkan card are adding the "Omen" part, so it may not be the final version of this new form), and a mysterious silhouetted figure.
◊ The text says that the silhouette may not reflect what the character actually looks like, but it also confirms that this figure is an entirely new character.
Also, a neat thing some people have noticed: Ultra Instinct Goku's color scheme is heavily reminiscent of a black hole.
Fitting, since that's the form the Spirit Bomb was in when he fell into it.

The head design makes me think of a skinnier member of Jiren's race.
As for Goku wanting to use the wish for his family, all he wants is to fight to his hearts content, and since he gets that without the need to have a wish, I'm not too shocked he'd default to letting others have it.
One Strip! One Strip!Regarding the "Omen" part being added, remember that red Super Saiyan-looking form that was on a piece of merchandise a while back? I'm thinking that's what happens when Ultra Instinct is combined with Super Saiyan Blue.
This song needs more love.A similar thought had crossed my mind, since "Omen" is just Goku using Ultra Instinct while running on Black Hole Spirit Bomb energy, maybe the orange-haired form (or something completely different but working under the same principle) is Goku using Ultra Instinct in conjunction with one of his Super Saiyan forms.

No that Krillin's wish; doesn't help that if we count GT, his daughter grows a nose by her teens.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!
