If only he did die there, it would've made a young randomness happy...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Buu's Fury was great. The weighted clothing system made gaining EXP easier but it also reduced your character's speed and didn't boost any stats like other equipment. There were 1 ton, 2 tons, 10 tons, 20 tons, 100 tons, and kiloton armbands and boots. The game also put a level requirement to be able to wear them, so you had to work your way up to the heavier ones. Also, aside from the 1 ton and kiloton ones (given to you in the tutorial and bought in a post-game hidden shop, respectively) the only way to get these was through random drops, which is kind of bullshit, if I'm being honest.
There was also something called the "Gokuu" Hat, which you found in a ninja stronghold and gave you one extra stat point per level-up. Pretty straightforward concept, but a really odd execution. Like, why is it named after Goku and why do ninjas have it?
If memory serves, at some point, Krillin wears a hat with "Gokuu" written on it in the anime. That hat is supposed to be the same hat Krillin wore. Why ninjas have it and why it gives you an additional stat point is anyone's guess.
One really neat thing about Buu's Fury that I feel like a lot of people don't know is that your stats actually have a cap that's based on your level.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Having your stats cap out at equal to your level actually introduces a bit of an interesting problem with ultimate Gohan. If you give him the Gokuu hat from the second you re-get the character, you can actually end up with a Gohan who has 200 in every stat at Level 200 and a bunch of spare stat points that you can't do anything with because he's already maxed out.
This is ignoring that the game is already structured so that it's possible to max out all the other characters at Level 200 with 200 in all stats if you make sure to equip them with the Gokuu hat for every single level after 100. Maximizing like this basically means that ultimate means nothing aside from increasing Gohan's speed a little and preventing Gohan from going Super Saiyan.
I really hate Yamcha was never a badass but a complete joke....just like everything else in Dragon Ball.
"Mai waifu."Ultimate Gohan in Buu's furry was completely useless iirc, since all it did was give Gohan a shit ton of levels, while also removing his ability to go super sayian. But the thing is, Gohan was removed from being playable for such a long time that the other characters probably had higher level than him anyway. So all you ended up with is a Gohan who can't transform into a super sayian.
@ that Yamcha video. I love it, since not only Yamcha gets pwned, it also happened because of his hubris.
I actually played Buu's Fury recently, and Ultimate Gohan doesn't just give him a ton of levels. If you don't use the Gokuu hat at all for anyone, you'll find that Ultimate Gohan is a way higher level, has WAY more stat points then he could ever possibly get from just levelling up to that level like normal and his actual stats ignoring his excess stat points go up a bunch.
This is what causes the aforementioned problem of Gohan having a ton of leftover stat points at max level if you level him up a bunch with the Gokuu hat.

I've only played Boo's fury once, and I remember Ultimate Gohan being a much higher level than my characters when I got him back. Although it's still hilarious stupid to take away Super Saiyan without a direct benefit for it - both skill points and levels can be gained through other means, but the benefits of Super Saiyan can't. They should have just made whatever benefit Super Saiyan provides passive. Y'know. Like Ultimate Gohan does!
Through normal gameplay, it shouldn't matter, but it's lazily designed.
Especially since you don't use him for all that long anyway, just make him a straight up Game-Breaker before he gets absorbed.
I never actually played Buu's Fury despite playing the first two Legacy of Goku games in their entirety. Because child me was too stupid to realize that Buu's Fury was a sequel to those games :V
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.

So...he's an idiot?
That's all that scene proved.
