Oya is the word used. It's neither singular nor plural, but if he were referring to two parents 'ryoushin' would be clearer (I can't do the Kanji for these on my phone).
There's also an interview where Toriyama describes Freeza's power and abnormality as 'born from his father alone' HOWEVER the phrasing of the Japanese makes it seem more likely that it's takking about him inheriting his mutation from his father's side rather than literally being born from one parent.
Shit's vague.
Ambiguous words are surprisingly useful.
I'll shout them out while listening to a hit song.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Him not having a Freudian Excuse, doesn't mean he isn't choosing to be evil.
But, frankly, I've never bought into the idea that whether the character chooses or not makes them more or less evil.

Do keep in mind that Freeza's various forms are actually power limiters. His "Final Form" is actually his true form.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Even without a Freudian Excuse, King Cold clearly had a negative impact on the young Frieza. From what little we get he comes off as a horrible father. I honestly don't blame Frieza for letting Cold rot in Hell, he probably deserves it
Horrible as in abusive or horrible as in enabling?
Cause I'm thinking it was mostly the latter.
Like how Abridged-Cooler was upset at how Frieza was spoiled rotten by his dad. I know that's not exactly canon but its a very sensible interpretation of Cold & Frieza's relationship.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Frieza's immediate response to being brought back from the brink of death is "Dad, I want to go blow up Earth." and Cold goes along with it, clearly bored, but wanting to indulge his son.
Frieza being spoiled seems pretty likely. At the same time, Cold also was willing to adopt Trunks in his stead once he was killed (IIRC), so I have no idea how genuine the affection is there.
Sorry it took me so long to get to this (admittedly minor point), I had class and went right to sleep almost the second I got home.
@last page: Yamcha and Yamaha definitely rhyme. All four A sounds in the first and last syllables are exactly the same soft A, unless you're one of those people who pronounces Yamcha with the first syllable like a yam. Cha and Ha may be a weak rhyme, but it's not forced in any way and the alliteration at the beginning more than makes up for it.
Oh my god. So I decided to get caught up with the Super dub but this Jaco episode is fucking filler. Not only does it make absolutely no sense in any aspect whatsoever (Why does Bulma need the Galactic Patrol to reach the center of the universe when her dad built a ship capable of going from Earth to Namek in six days fifteen years ago? And Namek is in a different galaxy/part of the universe since North Kaiou says that Namek is out of his jurisdiction) and is super boring. I had wanted to wait for the dub but, at this rate, it'll probably be better for me to just watch it subbed so I can skip the filler BS (seriously, the episode before this was, like, 70% recap of the episode before that one) and just watch the dub of each saga after it ends.

Pretty much.
He is what he is because of being a mutant apparently. He truly is a naturally born monster.
One Strip! One Strip!
