Mine too. Guess we must have crossed a few lines without even realizing it. I'm a bit disappointed in myself, as I thought I was better than that.
Apologies Saiga. Never meant to insult you.
One Strip! One Strip!Jeez. Knowing what IANCE was like, I can't even begin to imagine them.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Maybe Naruto is just that uninteresting...?
Too many flashbacks...and crud.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Man at another forum I mod at for years the various Naruto threads were treated as nests of controlled chaos and moderation was traditionally much more lenient towards random off-topicness and non sequitors within its confines. Then the Pain arc happened followed by the world war and things just got so toxic and so much of a cesspool that we had to bring an end to that behavior.
My Megaman and MegaTen RPG LiveblogsProbably because cleaning up the thread would require going into it first, and who would willingly do that except the twisted creatures created by it in the first place?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!they were very wary of the Those Who Fight Monsters trope.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI don't remember my time in the Naruto thread here that much, but I do remember posting in it near the end of the War Ac itself, and the tone Saiga spoke of was very much true to reality. I'm pretty sure I contributed to it.
Good times.
Oh, they were. Nearly every new chapter had some dumbass plot point or revelation to critique at length about, and Naruto being at its most popular still there were many people who wanted to be the ones to point them out.

It sounds like a fun story
Many centuries ago, when man first learned how to shitpost on two fingers, the Naruto thread was a wondrous haven where the children frolicked and dinosaurs roamed the grassy plains. When the sun rose each day, the olden tropers would gather there to discuss memes, put each others' names into a love calculator, and form all black power ranger teams. At sundown, the tropers would scurry back into their warrens, fearing the time when the mods would come down and tell us to actually talk about Naruto for once. It seemed like peace would always last.
And that's when the Fourth Shinobi World War broke out.
Oh, it was an absolute bloodbath - the thread, that is, the actual war in Naruto was weak af. But as the series' writing quality took a nosedive, so did the warm atmosphere of the thread. Troper turned upon troper, people who had previously received a 97% match in the love calculator now tore each other limb from limb. Desperately, we began to consult the ancient scrolls, trying to find some explanation for where things went wrong - only to learn that maybe, just maybe, these flaws we were seeing had been present from the very beginning, and allowed to grow unchecked until they became a hideous hydra that threatened to devour all.
The thread got really fucking caustic, is what I'm trying to say. But for some, that was the only way to enjoy what the series had become, and for others, the thread was even better when everyone was mocking the everloving shit out of the series. It was definitely not a good time to be a participant in the thread who actually liked the War arc, that's for sure.
Eventually, the series ended, and the flames of war died out. However, legend has it, that if you visit the thread on a full moon you can still hear the whispers of those who perished in the dumpster fire the thread had become: "why the hell is Zetsu behind everything" "holy fuck Madara is so OP" "Obito is still a whiny bitch" the lingering souls cry out into the misty night.
