While the video is reaching, I have been wondering for some time now when the Chekhov's Skill of "training your body to act independently of itself" will come into play.
If Vegeta does achieve a new form it will be the same way he always does (with the exception of Grade II):
After Goku does it.
One Strip! One Strip! At least he can somewhat catch up.
The others started off miles behind Goku. Tien and Roshi were arguably the only exceptions, and even they were blown away completely later on.
Hell, it's funny to think to see the difference between Goku and Tien's fight in the 22nd budokai fight (where Tien could have legitimately won with something beyond dumb luck) and their 23 fight, where he was completely outmatched from the get go, and only at best managed to get Goku to take his shirt and boots off.
One Strip! One Strip! No. That's not how it works, and that will never be how it works.
It'd be cool, but that's not how their gonna do it.
Goku leads, everyone else follows behind to varying degrees. That's how it is, and that's how it's always gonna be.
One Strip! One Strip!Super Saiyan Blue was barely this season.
I kinda liked it though. Can't say why, but I did.
One Strip! One Strip!I just had an idea. What if a future arc of Super was kind of a New Gods thing? It would be about the various God of Destruction candidates taking over as Hakaishin and dealing with the interuniversal politics and responsibilities that come with the position.
Vegeta would take over for Beerus since Goku doesn't want it. Toppo would take over for Vermoud since Jiren's not interested. Freeza would take Sidre's position, maybe. If the 'goddess' part of the spoilers is referring to what I hope it's referring to, Ribrianne replaces Helles. Hit might be interested, depending on how he feels about the similarities between God of Destruction and Assassin as jobs. Maybe one or two new guys from the top four universes.
Could be a neat arc, especially with how it advances the World of the Gods narrative Super has.

The 3 Secret Cards of Super DBH Mission 6 have been revealed!
- Super Kaioken Time Patrol Vegetto
- Dark Dragonball Kid Buu (Demon God Dabura/Janemba Absorbed)
- Grand Priest
It's Time Patrol Vegetto, I'm sure he figured something out.
Plus in Heroes, there's only Kaioken by itself so it doesn't really account for the different multipliers of Kaioken like x3, x10 or x20. For example, despite being called just "Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken", that form of Goku looks more like the x10 Kaioken Blue with the very reddish-looking body.
Who knows how many stacks of Kaioken the fusion is using!

Late, but I don't Gotenks would be that big of a help in the ToP considering that Universe 7 would either need to have 11 fighters or 9 fighters. And Gotenks can only stay fused for about five minutes while using Super Saiyan 3.
Namek time is a thing, yes, but it would still mean that Gotenks would be out of the tournament well before things got good and started. As I recall, Universe 9 lasted more than five minutes before they were eliminated.
Goten and Trunks individually are useful.
Gotenks for 30 minutes is overkill and doesn't even drain their stamina.
Super Gotenks for 5 minutes is overkill over overkill and they can always hide after the fusion. We've had people get injured or knocked out and rely on hiding to recover energy.
Super Gotenks doesn't have to be their go-to strategy to make them obvious choices. But having it as an option is a huge benefit, as it never hurts to have options.

The chances of Vegeta having a new form are nonexistent, but I was bored and wanted second opinions.
