Knew you would be excited for that.
I'm in the camp that's holding out for Jiren to get a concrete persona soon (even if I also joke about his inactiveness). I mean, Kale was a similar camp, and now she's (at best) tolerable until further notice.
Though, all this headcanon talk of Jiren being a canon Expy of Supes does intrigue me enough to mentally dub over his lines with George Newbern.
I figured someone was going to bring that up. Wouldn't mind if Funimation gets a little...suggestion for this to happen.

In the case of Hit, it took a while for people to grasp his personality because he was largely not doing much until it was his turn to fight. Jiren, in contrast, has the option of fighting right now, but just isn't and is letting all of his teammates lose in the process.
Honestly, I feel like Hit is one of the better characters to come out of Super. His design is a little strange for me, but I kind of like it. It reminds me of Piccolo or Pikkon and feels like the kind of character design you'd expect to see in Z.
When it comes to Hit being hyped up better than Jiren, I think Hit also gave us a taste of his powers in a better way. When Hit takes out Frost he uses this weird and cool crystal world that was super intriguing, but when Jiren takes out Kale he just uses generic fireball.
By the by, I wonder when someone is going to make a "Goku lets his guard down Compilation" video.
So, I've been thinking:
You know how the Dragonballs can't be directly used on someone stronger than the dragon's creator (Kami, Dende, or Guru)?
For example, they couldn't wish Nappa and Vegeta dead when they were coming to Earth because they were both stronger than God. It's been pointed out however, that they could have wished for the Saiyans space pods to disappear or something, thereby indirectly affecting them.
So now I ask: how many problems in the series could have been solved by making more indirect wishes, rather than trying to use the balls to directly affect someone against their will?
For instance, if the Z-Warriors had been willing to do something about Gero instead of purposely waiting 3 years for the androids to appear, what wish could they have made?
One Strip! One Strip!Gero probably wasn't an android by that point and thus could have been killed by Shenron directly.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!

Whis never said which God of Destruction. Then again, that person could be stronger than Sidra.
