Nice to hear Roshi cleaned house. Remember, not only is this is the guy who is one of the few characters who can say they beat Goku in a fair fight, he's one of the only ones who never got defeated in an obligatory re-match. Sure, Goku could utterly wreck him now, but that's still a very elite club he's a part of.
One Strip! One Strip!I will when I can watch it.
And I just thought the thing with Roshi was a cool little tidbit.
Yes, he got surpassed, but not many guys can say they have a 1-0 victory record over Goku.
I mean, the only other one is Vegeta technically (since I'd say he won the fight, even if he lost the overall battle), but Vegeta himself probably wouldn't consider that a win since he had to resort to the Oozaru form to beat one person.
One Strip! One Strip!I love how they pointed out that if the jar is an illegal weapon, then the talismans must be too.
But everything is okay by overrule of Zen'O.
3 fighters down, damn, Roshi, that's more than any of us expected out of you, and you're still in the tournament. AND he didn't fall for the seduction trick (or at least recomposed himself in time), which has got to be a first. Though I doubt he has it in him to do much more.
As for people saying that the tournament so far has consisted of punching bags: well, duh. We knew there weren't going to be that many fighters truly on par with Goku and Vegeta, and naturally the weaker ones are likely to get knocked out first.
My estimated list of Actual Threats is: Hit, Kale, Toppo, Jiren, and maybe Ribrianne. And there's always the chance Freeza will screw something up...
Hmm, what if Freeza teaches Frost how to do the Golden transformation? That might elevate Frost back into Threat territory.
...wow, that's bullshit.
I hope when another group does the same, the Zen-O's also let it slide because it looks cool, and it costs Universe 7 half their team so it can bite them in the ass.
Still haven't seen it mind you. Still waiting for the right place to put it up.
One Strip! One Strip! It's a pretty good episode. Probably one of the better ones of this arc. It also surprisingly humanizes Goku quite a bit so I wonder how the manga plans to downplay a certain scene.
There was only one borderline skeevy moment where one of Roshi's eliminations was due to the female contestant jumping of stage after Roshi threatened to "pay her back in full" for trying to seduce him.

I feel like U7 has eliminated most of the fighters. Which is okay, I guess, though it does make the present tournament cast feel like it's a bunch of punching bags rather than genuine threats.
