It also doesn't help that the Dragon Ball manga/anime seems to have Goku always appear to be the one to save the day while the characters are just there to slow the enemy down before he swoops in to defeat the villain.
"Mai waifu."I mean, Goku getting a new form and then making way for Gohan would also be a reference to the Boo arc.
If nothing else, the ending implies they're going to be the last ones standing, so we're probably going to be in for some Father and Son tag team action.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Personally, I'm more interested in what the end of the song means. Maybe it's just normal lyric repetition, to make the song end on the same note the shortened version does, but it feels like there's more to it.
Goku expressing a desire to grow ever stronger happening at the end of the song, after 'the climax scene', indicates that he's going to be pushing himself to get stronger even after the tournament which isn't unusual for Goku. The interesting part is that this spoken desire is immediately followed by saying that even Zen-Oh Sama will be blown away. Saying this before or during the tournament makes sense, since the Tournament of Power literally only exists to entertain the Omnikings and give Goku a good fight, but saying this after the tournament carries a different weight to it.
For some reason, the first scenerio I thought of for this was the Zen-Ohs (possibly orchestrated by the Daishinkan) saying that the best fighter wasn't allowed to use the Super Dragon Balls to bring back the other universes, causing Goku to do a 180 on them and vowing to get strong enough to 'blow Zen-Oh Sama away' in order to make the wish unimpeded. This kicks off the next arc, which is dedicated to everyone training to overthrow the gods and bring back the destroyed universes.
I'll admit that this is unlikely and there are other possible explanations but that was just the first one that came to mind, and it doesn't hurt that some people's theories about the ToP's end and the next arc were already among similar lines.

Correction: There's always symbolism to what's going on in a good opening.
No. Limit Break X Survivor never fails to get me hyped AF which, even if it's shallow, is still good. Whether or not the lyrics of the full version have anything to do with events later in the saga remains to be seen but, even if it does, it wouldn't affect the quality of the OP.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's possible that the full OP's second verse actually means nothing but it paints such a vivid, clear picture of a series of events that I'm inclined to believe otherwise.
Some minor spoilers in released images on the Twitter page about tonight's episode, looks like Maji Kayo's going to be fighting Goku.

We've already seen that Goku is getting the Limit Break Super Saiyan form.
And if the lyrics/symbolism fit Gohan perfectly, that probably means it's just going to be used for Goku.
