This fandom tends to only care about solo wins against the Big Bad.
That's because team battles are pretty rare, and only tend to happen when it's the weaker characters, or when it's not really going to accomplish anything.
And Goku himself doesn't really seem to be much of a team player. It takes a pretty desperate situation for him to consider fighting with a two (or more) on one advantage, or taking outside help during a fight.
Hell, first chance he got during this tournament, he immediately flew off to fight on his own rather than staying together as a group like Gohan had tried to plan.
As Raditz proved, he can be convinced to team up with someone, but given the choice in the matter, he'd choose to fight one on one every time, so it's not a shock the fandom tends to overlook that stuff when The Hero does as well.
One Strip! One Strip!Which is ironic given Goku's reputation as a Boring Invincible Hero in the fandom.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.A cheap shot and some bullshit which is now apparently canon.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Speaking of bad dubbing, in the Big Green Dub, Future Piccolo Big Green is the only one who dies, while everyone else survives, even though it shows them being killed.
You just reminded me of my first exposure to the Big Green dub through Phelous recently. Canada's insistence on strictly funding and promoting homegrown content is both a blessing and a curse :
As a side note, he also did a (more positive) review of The Path to Power:
Admittedly, he has a very "acquired taste" standard to his reviewing style. Never put on headphones.

So now the full version of Limit Break X Survivor is out, someone went and translated the lyrics.
What's interesting is that while the first verse is clearly a reference to Goku's excitement for the tournament. The second verse takes on a completely different tone.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Potentially there's another guy who reviews bad dubs of dubs.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.![]()
Did Goku just say Even the God of Destruction looks puny?
Holy shit! What's this new power-up gonna do to him exactly?
There does seem to be a bit of an implication that after years of trying to top himself, this time he's gonna completely transcend all his known limitations.
One Strip! One Strip! Thanks for the translation of the lyrics. The second part is VERY interesting, so let's see if I can make sense of it. Based on the first part, the song seems to be from Goku's perspective, which puts the second part under an interesting lens.
Based on the context of the lyrics, I think Goku's going to get eliminated. All the lyrics referring to 'you' are most likely Goku giving a rousing speech to pump up Gohan, who appears to have fallen into depression (probably because of all the omnicide). Gohan takes a bad hit and gets back up, surprising Goku who thought he was down. Gohan exceeds all expectations and grows immensely more powerful, winning the tournament and explicitly surpassing Beerus in the process. Given how the focus shifts here from 'you' back to 'I', it looks like Goku's not done yet, and he's still trying to break through his limits. Considering how the last line comes after "the climax scene", saying that even Zen-Oh Sama's going to be blown away feels less like a promise of great entertainment here and more like a direct threat.
If this song is any indication of how this arc is going to end, it's going to be intense and dramatic.

So you're telling me that Gohan is the Limit Break x Survivor :V
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Maybe, if that term actually means anything related to what's implied by its parts.
By the way, my evidence for the focus character being Gohan is:
The use of 'you' indicates that it's not Goku and it's someone he's talking to.
"Think back to the good old days" someone Goku is very close with.
"Light that fire inside of you" it's fucking Gohan.
"Break through the sadness" it's fucking Gohan.
"Because you're a warrior, too!" it's totally fucking Gohan.

As of Super, he's finally killed Frieza too, but you are right. I got those two confused.
One Strip! One Strip!
