I like that advice.
Now, once the show is over, feel free to rake them over the coals, but until then...
One Strip! One Strip! It's pretty hard to explain, but we did kinda see some of the results of his off-screen training during the Resurrection F Saga, where Roshi was fighting Frieza Soldiers who should have been at the very least 100x stronger than Roshi's last recorded powerlevel. (which was 139 btw)
Though, IIRC, there was one interview back during the RF movie came out where Toriyama jokingly said that Roshi's powerlevel was around 75,000 or so.
Well, that makes sense. It's just that with Tien and Krillin, we at least knew that they were still training, while with Roshi, I just assumed he was retired, or that he'd decided he was too old for this world-saving nonsense. Good for him. The man's 300 years old or something and he's still stronger than Yamcha.
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]
Oh, you know, the guy Gohan stole all his hairdos from.
I was confused when you brought up apartment...but then I remembered to look it up, so now it's better.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Info on episode 106 is out!
◊ Gohan and Piccolo fight Dr. Rota, who is then shot down by an unknown fighter. Even Tien and Vegeta are having trouble with this "invisible" fighter!
Also, it seems there'll be two hour-long DBS/OP specials after episode 106.
◊ That's why the show is going on a break for a bit.

No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans!Interesting that they're using the invisible fighters at the same time as Dr. Rota. Looks like one of them will be fighting Gohan and Piccolo until Tenshinhan steps in to help them and the other one will be fighting Vegeta. Kind of wish Rota got more screentime, but maybe his short fight will be good, who knows.
Both Red and Black had a point. Red in that the Red Ribbon Army was already the most powerful military force on Earth and capable of taking over the world through conventional means, and why not use the Dragon Balls for something truly miraculous and otherwise impossible? Black in that using the Dragon Balls for such a petty thing was dumb and short-sighted, especially when world domination has never been further from reach, what with the little monkey boy systematically destroying all of their forces.

The funny thing was that I was going to bitch about an apparent double standard regarding the use of the Dragonballs. I was going to ask "how come Bulma isn't vilified for wanting to use the Dragonballs to wish for a perfect boyfriend?
Then I answered my own question: Because Bulma didn't put other people's lives at risks, didn't hire an assassin with literally zero redeeming qualities, and didn't have a shitload of mooks to do it.
Really, I would have been more sympathetic with commander Red had he not been so evil to the point of hiring an assassin to kill a 12-year old boy.
This is true. The power of the original army was completely ridiculous considering that the regular military was completely helpless against them. If Red hadn't wanted to go for such a dumb wish, they'd have conquered the world already. At the same time, there was some slightly twisted logic in Red's actions. He could lead the most powerful army in the world, and by proxy, be the most powerful man on the planet (in terms of political power) but if people just looked at him and saw some stupid little short man, then it would mean nothing. Of course, this is due entirely to his own lack of self esteem, but still. In a world where Goku never existed, his wish would have been inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. He could have been able to afford making such a frivolous request.
This is also true, but as we all remember, after killing Red, Black then promptly forgot his own advice right up until the moment he saw Goku kick a missile away, and by that time it was far too late. That's always annoyed me; why does he suddenly try and continue a battle that he himself had been saying was pointless due to Goku being far too strong. He made the switch so damned quickly too. I can only determine that Toriyama just had him suddenly flip like that because he was determined to get rid of the army now that they had served their purpose.
She did kind trick Goku into letting her use his 4 star ball, despite knowing it would fly away once the wishes were made. She also forced Oolong to join them and made him a slave...though Oolong's no saint either, but still, not a particularly nice thing to do.
Well, you're not supposed to be sympathetic to Red in the first place, but we have to remember, Goku was no ordinary kid (he'd mopped the floor with a number of Red Ribbon soldiers well before the assassin came in, and some of them, like Blue were quite formidable in their own right. So, still a horrible thing to do, but when you are dealing with Son Goku, an assassin is the best option you have.
One Strip! One Strip!

Apparently, he's been training off-screen the whole time and now he's as strong as Namek Freeza.
