Right. Vegeta even pointed out that Gohan could be stronger than both Goku and himself at the Univers 6 tournament. Goku agreed, but pointed out that Gohan stopped training and went home to be a nerdy family man. So Gohan still could reach those heights if he were a battle-holic and train-a-holic like the other two.
Hit was great this episode. He's a really intelligent fighter, and I liked how he methodically picked Dyspo apart.
Super Sayian God is back? Well that makes no sense and is inconsistent with what we've seen before, but at this point I already learned to expect stuff like that.
Pfft, Toppo saying that they should stop playing heroes was hilarious, because Pride Troopers were the heels in pretty much all of their fights so far.

It's just that Dragon Ball uses the word "potential" in a weird, counter intuitive manner that doesn't line up with the normal definition of the word, hence the confusion.
Normal definition of a potential i "having or showing the capacity to develop into something in the future.", under which yeah, a five years old has if anything a higer potential than a 20 years old.
Now, DB uses the term potential in something closer to unused power that exists in body at the moment and not the strength they could develop in the future. Under the common definition of potential, the Ultimate transformation would indeed make Gohan as strong as he could ever become, at least thorough normal means, while the way DB uses it, it just releases the dormant power he already had in his body but wasn't using.
Now, even under the regular definition of potential Goku and Vegeta surpassing Ultimate Gohan would make sense, as they did go through sort-of apotheosis, which is something that could erase their previous limits and give them more room for growth.
I would be very surprised if the U6 Namekians and U4 invisi-bugs didn't each get at least one focus episode. The Namekians are probably going to fight Piccolo and someone else.
I'm positive the invisibugs won't come into play until all other U4 fighters are eliminated, as which point Quitela will reveal that they've had two camoflaged fighters laying invisible explosives throughout the arena the whole time. The bugs reveal themselves and they trigger all the explosions, KOing a bunch of fighters. Then, the bugs are going to either be eliminated in that very episode or they'll stick around for a while, fighting while camoflaged, until they're taken out.
That's what I wonder to because up until now they've been kind of acting like heels in this tournament, mostly only fighting when they have numbers advantage.
Not even saying that's a bad thing either, because it's the actual logical and pragmatic thing to do, but I wonder if them no longer acting "heroic" will actually be that much different?

That would be so awkward if Piccolo absorbed the Namekians....why would two random Namekians, from a completely different universe, allow themselves to be absorbed by this random Namek? By doing that they're actively hurting their team by making an enemy stronger.
Also, would that count as eliminations for Piccolo....or killing?

I don't consider it particularly likely, but I also wouldn't put it past Super. With some justification like "Our universe is probably going to lose but if we give you our power, then Universe 7 might win and some Namekians will get to survive" or some such nonsense.

I'm still not sure how I feel about there being forms stronger than Ultimate Gohan. Power Creep is inevitable per the conventions of the genre, of course, but from what I remember the Old Kai powerup was hyped as the be-all and-all of an individual's power; indeed, the only characters we see stronger than Ultimate Gohan are mergers or fusions of some sort.
