Supposedly no talent...
Kakarrot's talent is being stronger than most people...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That's not true, Goku is talented because he trains with so many different people and refines the techniques he learns to perfection. He's not immediately stronger than his rivals,, but he eventually outpaces them since he's simply that damn good at fighting and developing.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Kakarrot's the one with talent...
Veggie was born rich with power...he was the talentless one...

Does that make any sense or is it just gasping at straws?
That's from a magazine look and find game. That is quite possibly the epitome of reaching.
This song needs more love.I wonder what's coming up next.
The tournament has been largely episodic so far, with focus subplots or episodes for characters or groups of characters. The two eliminated universes are ones that have already had focus before the tournament, but the rest... who knows? Either they'll continue to job or each is going to get their own episode. Not to mention that 18, Piccolo, Tien and Roshi (though I'm assuming Tien and Roshi will share whatever subplot they get) haven't had chances to shine on their own yet.
Plus an episode, probably more, dedicated to whatever Freeza's up to of course.

@Moth 14: Was the fact that they're main featured Pride Troopers in the ending not obvious enough of that?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. But then again, how long before it becomes really reudnadnt to have Vegeta be second fiddle? How will Goku be the stronger of the two? I actually gettng really annoyed at the trope of the hero always being ahead of the rival.
"Mai waifu."Touche.
Still, it would nice to throw Vegeta a bone once in awhile before Goku inevitably surpasses him and it is going to happen no matter what, it was one of the very few tropes that Toriyama {and by extension most writers of battle manga) gets played straight in Dragon Ball. It isn't Vegeta the only one who suffers but he is one of the most iconic examples of Can't Catch Up in Jump manga.

"Mai waifu."There have been times where Vegeta was stronger than Goku. For example, he spends most of the Android Saga stronger than him.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!

Current Veggie wouldn't be that...
