I can't remember exactly, but I think Gowasu was only watching because that mortal Goku they had just recently met was in it.

I mean, after they found out that the Tournament of Power was inspired by the U 6 tournament, you'd think they'd look it up for the added background.

I mean, how many uses Godtube even has? Less than a hundred probably? You'd think everyone would watch everything everyone else posts, just because there's nothing else on.

So that person who condensed the first episode of the Tournament of Power into 'real time' has apparently taken it upon themself to do the same for all of the episodes, collectively, whenever a time marker is given. I've very curious to see the finished product: probably 30 or so 22 minute long episodes compressed into 48 minutes (partially because I'm curious if the events of the tournament can even be told in 48 minutes, which is my plan should my dreamed films ever reach the herculean feat of making it this far).

It was implied in Toriyama's explanation of gods that there are just random god civilians with no job at present. Specifically, he said that when a god holding a Kai position dies, all other gods draw lots for a replacement.

Apparently not applicable to "our" North Kai though.

Yeah, the Daizenshuu says, I think, that there's an entire race of "Shinjin" populating each of the universes, it's just that the Kaio and Kaioshin are the only ones of real importance to the overall universe.

Take Kibito for instance. He's not among the Kaio(shin), just an assistant/servant. Still a god, but not one that's really important on his own.

Kibito is weird because he's way stronger than a regular Kai but way weaker than a Supreme Kai.

I assume Cappa will be the last one from Universe 6 and Vegeta will be the one to knock him off. At which point people will start going to Vegeta killed everyone in Universe 6 because apparently that's what's happening now.

Are people saying that about Gohan after the last episode?

Yes. Also Goku (and I guess Vegeta, but mostly Goku) with Universe 9.

@Hamburger Time

Kibito is likely a gold fruit Shinjin.

It might explain why North Kai is now asking to be revived. Maybe they're getting ready to replace him now.

@Moth 13: Right and so far it has been really effective.

Lets be honest here; Gohan killed that guy's family.

He's a heartless monster, plain and simple.

Well, he had to choose between the survival of his own famly or that guy's family. There is pretty much no easy way out of this thing.

There will be a moment where the universe 7 will have to fight to eliminate the universe 6, regardless of any friendship the fighters may have for each other. I wonder how the fandom will react to that.

Nah, they just like their equivalent to cat videos.

Whis' Channel is nothing but videos of Beerus sleeping and/or "training" with yarn.

Gowasu's channel would have probably been about tea-making minutiae, until recently when he tried to make the channel more "hip".

Yeah...if this fight comes down to Jiren vs Goku like the opening implies....then that means U6 is getting destroyed before U11.

Which means some people are going to have say goodbye to their beloved U6 Saiyans/Hit/Frost/whoever.

Not like it matters too much, they'll be brought back somehow. Eventually. They're too popular to just throwaway forever.

[up]

Honestly? I'd watch that.

It's big enough to accommodate 80 fighters, and yet at the same time leave enough space for small-scale skirmishes. The place feels ridiculously empty, yet crowded at times.

Well it is doing that thing where if a character is not on the screen then they don't exist.

There only giving presence to whoever's important at the time.

Maybe they've bit off more than they can chew with 80 fighters participating....that's probably something that came from Toriyama himself though.
