Oh, on episode 101 - aside from Goku annoyingly letting his guard down again, I feel like the Pride Troopers acted too much like the Ginyu Force in the episode. I know they're parodying the same thing, but the poses and introductions were too similar for this episode and it makes them feel like an imitation rather than having their own identity.
When Kale first turned Super Saiyan, I was wondering if they were going to act like her Super Saiyan form is superior to her berserk form given Caulifa's reaction. But now they seem to treat it as her analogue to Super Saiyan 2, as it was in her debut (but obviously, under her control now).
Shameful posing tbh. Captain Ginyu would be ashamed at their lack of effort.
I loved the recycled animation, since it felt much more like a Running Gag than lazyness this episode.
Why didn't Whis step in to stop Super Saiyan God Goku and Beerus from destroying the universe with their energy ripples? He and Vados are very quick to stop Beerus and Champa whenever they start fighting, for the same reason.

Reusing that specific animation though made it feel like she had practiced that pose and speech for years on end and Meta wise they were making fun of Toei's mid 90s Magical Girl that did just that often.
Yeah, reusing animation here for the transformation makes perfect sense. It's supposed to be a send off of Magical Girl shows, after all.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I've never even heard of that. Yeesh. The guy can be completely random at times.
In regards to Frieza letting Goku go Blue, it's either curiosity, or a desire to give Goku a taste of his own medicine by doing to him what Goku did to Frieza on Namek. And that's just me giving him the benefit of the doubt and not assuming it isn't just plot convenience.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm watching Super's English dub from the beginning since they just got to the start of the U6/U7 Tournament arc, and does anyone else remember that Hakai was set up ALLLLLLLLL the way back when SSG Goku and Beerus were pushing that ball of universe-destroying hypercompressed Ki back and forth and Beerus just completely destroyed it? And how Beerus continued to use Hakai thoughout the fight to erase Goku's Ki attacks before they even hit him?
Weird how everyone was freaking out when Beerus destroyed Zamasu when we've known Beerus could completely destroy matter and energy since episode 13.
Are you trying to kill us, @Black Yakuzu 94?
Because I don't think that's a laughing matter.
Oh, yeah, of course it was awesome. I'm just saying that some people were talking about that scene like they were unaware Beerus could do that. Especially with how that scene alone sparked up all the discussion on the Hakai technique when it had already been shown to a lesser degree three arcs prior.
