1. I really must say; upon seeing how the Frieza saga of DBS has been going so far, and reading about how it will initially turn out, it seems like Frieza's return was going to mean the end of the Earth no matter what happened. Goku ultimately couldn't stop him and Vegeta ended up failing to stop him. The only reason the heroes ended prevailing in the end was because of Whis pulling a veritable deus ex machina and giving them a do-over, which really doesn't sit well with me, since it means that, without that, the Z fighters were basically fighting a battle that they really couldn't win. Unless someone here knows a fact that I am missing.
2. I repeat; what was the episode of the original Dragon Ball series where Goku was doing a Kamehameha wave as a child and his arms basically bulged while he was doing so?
They were capable of stopping him. If Goku and Vegeta had fought together, they could have beaten Frieza in moments, but they both flat out refused because Mah Pride!
Despite both of them knowing how dangerous Frieza is, and having every reason to want him dead as quickly as possible, neither of them were even willing to try and cooperate. And post battle, they both make it clear that they still won't do it, something that's being demonstrated during this tournament.
Which is really annoying, because Goku has shown a willingness to cooperate with others before when an enemy proves to be too strong for him on his own, so him now being all like Nah! I wanna fight him myself! is really frustrating.

One Strip! One Strip!I'd forgotten that point. I mean, we've already determined that if two weaker foes try to fight a stronger one, they'll still lose because they are weaker. At certain levels, the only way to win a fight is by being stronger than the other guy, and if you are strong enough, nothing else can stop you, even if you are massively outnumbered.
Vegeta was stronger than both, so, had he not let himself get drained earlier, he'd have stomped the good doctor right then and there as well.
One Strip! One Strip! It was probably the first time he used it...or in one of the movies...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Heh. Just re watched the end of the Super's version of the Resurrection F Are.
I love how Frieza was so horrified at the idea of actually losing to Vegeta. It really comes off as that being what made him decide to blow up the earth.
Also, for all my criticism of of Goku and Vegeta learning nothing from the destruction of Earth (still being so stubborn about working together, that less applies to Frieza as well, as his constant insistence on revenge destroys what left of his army and gets him killed again. Stupid people who don't learn their lessons on all sides it seems.
One Strip! One Strip!Happy feet gives him powers beyond our imagination.
He also knows the Rainbow connection power up.
Champa is being really unlikable as of late. I get he doesn't want to die and it's all in for himself, but he should at least try to not be such a dick to Beerus when as far as they're concerned this is the last hour Beerus and Champa will see their brother alive, they should try to make amends. But Champa keeps rooting against Universe 7 specifically instead of giving his brother condolences, respect or hoping he's the last to be erased.
Vados isn't any less guilty by trolling Champa. Champa's a dick extraordinaire, but with non-existence around the corner he doesn't deserve twisting the knife. At least the Universe 6 and 7 fighters aren't being dickish to each other, Frost notwithstanding. Overall I imagine if they still exist, Beerus and Champa's parents would be very disappointed in them
Beerus and Champa don't seem to really like each other that much. Their entire relationship seems to be based entirely on sibling rivalry, with Beerus wishing back U6's Earth being the only moment either of them gave any indication they cared about the other.
I do expect them to start getting nervous and concerned for the other once their team starts getting in serious trouble. Their feelings towards each other might not even fully surface until one of them is actively being erased from existence.
I understand their urse to eternally compete to prove who is the best in this sibling rivalry, but I expected them to realise what is at stake after universe 9 got erased and the implications of losing the tournament. For me, it is hard to believe there was a time I actually used to like Champa, especially considering he seems to be the active instigator of this relationship during the tournament because it makes it look like he just doesn’t care if his brother is erased. I can say pretty much the same thing about Vados, I used to find her remarks about his weigth to be funny moments and their relationship to be different and interesting, but now her comments are starting to cross the line and I can’t get a smile out of them anymore.
Wait... do Gods of Destruction have parents? I know Beerus and Champa are called "brothers", which could imply that they were birthed from the same mother, but maybe that's just referring to the fact that they're Gods of Destruction from matching universes?
In fact, I've always found it kind of strange that Beerus and Champa are the only paired GoDs that look like they could plausibly be biologically related. Well, aside from Helles and Belmod, I guess, since they're both humans. But the other pairs consist of...
- a bearded man and a mouse
- an elephant and a robot
- a fox and a... thing
- a freaky fish guy and Cousin It.

No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans!

Apparently there's gonna be a new smartphone DB game... and it seems to be a 2-v-2 arena fighter with a story mode!?
It seems it'll have characters and stages from the first half of DB and will update with Z stuff later on. Characters confirmed so far:
Teen Bulma also appeared in a cutscene, but I'm not sure if she'll be playable.
