Dissapointed "Treeko" and Murichim were out. Even Grand Priest lampshaded how most of the fighters who went out "are the weakest of the bunch, and that the real fun starts now".
Also, Not disappointed with the five Pride Troopers, they gave us a good, albeit brief, appereance where their powers and personalities worked. It helps Kahseral was previously established.
Also, Yardrat guy survived. Yay! But jeeez, that magical girl (Goku call her "magical witch" on the NEP) eyes are creepy.
Kale is beautiful and her being a living Broly irony made me laugh.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Well, came to control her powers because of self-loathing and not because lesbians, so that partially addresses some complaints about her. Although, it was still entirely focused on Caulifla...
I was going to say now that she has control over it she seemed much weaker, but then they had her beef up a bit. She's still probably not going to be anywhere near as impressive though, so, eh.
I feel they're unintentionally making Goku look bad just because they want to keep primary focus on him, while simultaneously giving the spot light to other people. Hence why he doesn't just transform to break out from that guys hold, and while 18 can just lift him up no problem.
Ribrianne is the real final enemy. She's gun punk Jiren and take on Goku in the final battle, then kick his ass too.
Subverted expectations bitches!
But damn, the Pride troopers have lost just over half their members in one go. They are in extremely dire straights here.
Meanwhile, our heroes have lost only one fighter (and one of the weakest, and only via a cheap shot) and Universe 6 hasn't lost anyone.
Beyond that, I think only 4 and 10 have lost any other members, and only a few. Things have really slowed down now.
One Strip! One Strip!I don't blame you for not remembering, but Universe 3 lost two guys last week: Hit broke Nalirama's arms and knocked him off, then Cabba casually one-shotted their strongest guy on his way to Vegeta.
...was Cabba even in this episode? I just finished watching it and I genuinely can't remember seeing him. He really was demoted to Goten-tier once the girls were introduced.

My Megaman and MegaTen RPG LiveblogsYeah. Cabba seems to be off doing other stuff. He's not out, because they'd made a point to catalogue everyone who gets knocked out.
We should make a list of everyone who's been eliminated for every team so far (barring Universe 9...for very obvious reasons).
One Strip! One Strip!Well, when you can't run out of strength, you don't really need to hold back.
Sure, she's done it before (her fight with Vegeta, and her future self if that counts), but there's no need to really fuck around in this fight.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean, Super did change some of the things from the movie, like how Goku handles the situation (seeing it as more of a sparring match and telling Frieza to go train in his Golden form before trying again vs not really getting much enjoyment out of it and telling Frieza...basically what he told him back on Namek when he had Frieza dead to rights) and how Goku gets fatally injured (getting shot from the front in his SSGSS form vs getting shot from behind while he was focused on Frieza, after powering down to his base state).
Note: first scenario is the movie, second scenario is the anime.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!"Nah man, gotta conserve muh stamina!!1111"
Even though we saw Jiren one-shot Rule 63 Broly not a minute ago. What stamina would he even need to conserve? Just one-shot everybody, and they'd be fine.
Now they've needlessly put themselves in an uncomfortable position. Toppo and Jiren have to start eliminating more people now.
RIP Cell fans.

So, how many times now does that make it now that Goku has dropped his guard only for some other fighters to get the drop on him?
I get that it's an easy way to show off how strong some of the fighters are, but there comes a point where it's just getting ridiculous that it feels like it keeps happening to him every episode.

Maybe he's just out for a real fight that makes him excited. Otherwise, I don't know.
