Knowing how Heroes operates, they's probably make a Trunks Black and a Broly Black, because Lord knows there's not enough iterations of Trunks and Broly in Heroes.
This really makes me like Gokus behavior during the Euice Shenron fight where he became furious after Euice attacked his family & told him that a man's family is sacred. He then threatened the Shenron to go away forever & clearly didn't care if he fought him again, he just didn't want to see the disrespectful bastard again forever.
Like he shouldn't be acting so chummy with Frieza, knowing their encounter on Namek lasted. The two should be mortal enemies who despise each other.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."How would Goten Black even work?
Zamasu: "I want you to swap my soul with that of the mortal Son... (crap, I forgot his name)."
Zarama: "Well?"
Zamasu: "Just show me the Son family of the planet Earth, in Universe 7."
*picture of Goku relaxing in the field with Goten, Chi-Chi walking up to them*
Zamasu: "That one, there, with the stupid hair. Swap my soul with him."
Zarama: "Your wish is granted. Farewell."
You are now imagining Goten Black monologuing about the failings of mortals and divine justice while still looking like a 7 year old child.

What if a universe was short two guys initially and all of them are still standing when time runs out but a different universe who brought ten had nine standing? The smaller team wouldn't have lost anyone but the larger would have still lost one member.
Did Toriyama put any thought into the inner workings of this tournament?
Will it really make any difference at all?
When the Grand Priest was explaining the rules, he did mention that, in case of a tie, the match would continue until a definite winner could be determined.
So, I guess if the last survivors are, say, Hit, Frost, Jiren, Toppo, Goku and Gohan, then a 3-way tag team match would take place, and one guy being eliminated means their team loses. In this scenario, if Hit, Goku and Jiren are eyeing each other, ready to make the first move... and then suddenly Frost eliminates Toppo with a cheap shot, Jiren would immediately lose, blue balling Goku and the audience simultaneously. And it would then come down to U6 vs U7, because a winner hasn't been determined yet.
That... actually sounds like it could've been pretty decent - at least as a temporary form. If done right, possessed (or in this case body-switched) kids can hit the right kind of creepy and all.
x2 Klarion the Witch Boy, based on his animated appearances, instantly comes to mind as a reference for a seemingly childish, but well-spoken and powerful immortal Enfant Terrible. So, as far-fetched of an idea as it is, it's not totally impossible to pull off.
Zamasu being an interdimentional menace is canon, it differs how in mediums (Cosmic horror in the anime, a bunch of inmortal clones with a time machine in the manga)
Also, did I mention I like Kale? I mean, her, as her own character when not in berserker mode? She is cute. I hope next episode she starts to control her powers, she would be rescued form the Walking reference sheet.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.I kind of hope future Dragon Ball games reduce Broly to a costume for Kale, if they include him at all. It seems unnecessary to have both when they have the exact same fighting style and Kale is much more important to the story than Broly is, so she's the logical choice over him.

...You're making a pretty big assumption by saying she's more important than Broly. Beyond that, Broly is still a popular character (well...more popular than Kale comparatively speaking) , so I can't imagine a move like that being well received.

De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Broly only exists in three terrible movies with no canonicity. Kale is a major player in Super's Universal Destruction arc. When I say "Kale is more important than Broly", I'm saying it with the same meaning as "Puar is more important than Broly", "Turtle is more important than Broly", and "Burter is more important than Broly".

You need a tail to become Super Saiyan 4, and Toriyama is pretty Anti-Tail now.
Hell, he's said Universe 6 Saiyan's evolved to no longer need them. He just won't draw them anymore...even though he's not actually drawing the series that much anymore.
One Strip! One Strip! Why not have both?
Take, for example, Injustice 2. Superman and Supergirl are Kryptonians with similar powers but play completely different from one another (and, to a lesser extent, can be applied to Cheetah and Catwoman).
If, for instance, Arc System Works wants to add Broly in Dragon Ball Fighters out of the box, and add Kale as apart of a Super DLC pack, I see no reason why they can't make the two different without resorting to skin swaps (heck, they strive to do that to begin with). Kale already has that "Puny God" move, and DBZ games, no matter how faithful to the source, are no stranger in adding game exclusive moves that "reasonably" make sense.

The Frieza arc did put the series in another direction especially with how it approached combat.
"Mai waifu."
