So Super Saiyan (4) Gogeta was supposed to get both the Kaioken and the Spirit Bomb? The humans were also supposed to get Kaioken, Kid and Future Gohan were supposed to get the Special Beam Cannon, and Cell was actually going to get the Spirit Bomb? Neat.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!I echo the sentiment that Kuririn/18 is an awful pairing and I say that as a fan of Kuririn - I think it's bad for both their characters.
Wouldn't call it one of the worst of shonen because they get really fucking bad beyond just being bad for the characters and supporting bad cliches. Definitely the worst DB pairing, since it is actually tried to be portrayed as a good thing.
That'd be really cool if they all weren't standing in the exact same pose.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! One thing I like about the latest episode is that even Frieza is a bit ruffled about Zeno's actions, despite his immediate declaration to try to usurp them eventually. I thought Freiza would have loved to see everything disappear in an instant, but then again its so fast there's no time to savor the suffering.
Honestly, you could say that about Goku and Chi Chi as well. Like Krillin and 18, they got together for a really dumb reason (because the author just threw them together).
That being said, while the reason they got together was poor (a reward? C'mon Toriyama!) I've liked seeing them together. It's not like 18 has gotten weaker or anything (she's still stronger than her husband, even if the plot comes up with dumb reasons to keep her out of the fights), and I feel like their relationship has been really fun in Super as well.
Especially with their team up during this last episode. That combo move was something you don't see very often in Dragonball, as the series has always emphasized one on one fights (especially with how Goku often opts to fight on his own, even in situations where his ally isn't a liability that can't keep up).
One Strip! One Strip! The boss pairing...
Veggie and Blooma...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. No, actually, I think Goku and Chichi are nothing like Kuririn and 18. Neither of the characters are hurt by it - though married Chichi is unpleasant, she did not have much characterization until the marriage and it turned her into a nice foil for Goku.
The dysfunctional part of the relationship makes total sense, and it's acknowledged in-universe which is a huge boon to it. It helps develop Goku's flaws.
Gohan is also a major character so their marriage has a plot purpose.
When there is no alternative, all there is happens to be a character who doesn't have much purpose...
Which some people just find worse...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Piccolo and Krillin confirmed for FighterZ!
Also, there'll be an online lobby where you control and brawl chibi characters, kinda like GGXrd.
Never understood why people feel the need for pairings in a Shonen.
The fighting should be the main focus, not romance.....I'm semi-okay with couples being terrible if the fighting is good.
Yeah, I know it's an excuse for lazy writing, but I was never that interested in pairings to begin with. I just want to see people punch each other......
I really enjoy the chemistry of all four of the main Dragon Ball couples, and I think they work better as characters with a significant other than they did solo.

The only characters I really think could be said to be "shafted" out of a role are Gohan, and to a lesser extent Goten and Trunks. Even then, that seems more about the Buu Saga being all over the place than anything else.
I mean, if they for whatever reason give Vegeta a personal arc with some big villain relating to him who was somehow hidden away for ever but still is strong enough to be a credible threat, let Vegeta take it. Of course, such a scenario has a lot of problems just with its design that I'm hoping something like that doesn't actually happen.
