I liked how the Universe 9 erasure hit everyone like a ton of bricks. It's one thing for it to be said, but actually witnessing it, is another thing.
Krillin an 18 team up was cool. Especially the pass around ki blast.
I find it hilarious how Frost just sucker punched a guy much weaker than himself and then threw a smoke bomb to run away. That guy is such a dirty coward.

Two interesting things to note.
All three fighters who were biologically capable of flying due to possessing wings have already been eliminated. Shame, really, i was hoping they'd play a larger part because of their access to flight.
Both of the U4 fighters eliminated this episode, Shousa and Majora, broke out into tears after losing and had to be comforted, emphasising how the people fighting in this tournament are just good, scared warriors who don't necessarily want to be here, fighting with the weight of their entire universe on their shoulders. These aren't bad people, and they don't deserve to be erased.

Damn, I go to sleep at 11 and I wake up to find out that a Krillin hater took over the thread while I was gone.
In regards to Resurrection F... my headcanon is that 18 let Krillin go in her stead to let him gain his confidence back. Earlier he begged Goku to punch him, indicating that he felt insecure about falling so far behind the other Z fighters, so she was all like, "Okay, I'll give you this one."
Also, this episode was dope. I loved the goofy Botamo/Magetta team attack, I loved the way Team Nerd took down Jium, and I loved 18 and Krillin's chemistry. Foreal, I can't understand how anyone would call them one of the worst shonen pairings after seeing them take down Majora. Bad pairing? Nah. Bad you.
No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans!Lord knows if this had been Yamcha, he'd have never even gotten this much.
People writing the show actually care enough about Krillin to give him a tiny bit of glory, rather than just mocking him for a joke.
The shoe thing almost feels Toriyama-esque. I wonder if he came up with that. I suppose we'll know when the Manga reaches this point.
As for how much Goku is or isn't to blame...
Honestly, it all depends on if Zen-O only started the tournament because Goku reminded him or not, even if he had been planning this beforehand. Future Trunk's timeline seems to indicate that he did, but on the other hand, we can't be 100% sure. We never can really.
One Strip! One Strip!Zamasu and Gowasu visiting Universe 10 some thousand years in the future does raise some questions.
Super's getting real exciting now. The 18-Krillin teamup was the show stealer this episode, I enjoyed that more than I thought I would. Although:
- Vegeta says not to waste their power. He knows he can't beat Hit without Blue and yet he goes after him and Botamo. The strategy here should have been to move away from guys like that and let them waste their time on the other strong guys.
- Krillin tried the Solar Flare on someone who we could see had their eyes closed. Though I suppose I must have forgotten the last time he used this x100 version against Gohan... did it work while Gohan's eyes were closed? Must have. It's just funny that he tried it on someone who was blind to begin with.
- I'd have to guess that Goku and Gohan will be the last two standing since they're shoulder-to-shoulder during the credits.
- What's up with all of the wolf fighters? I can't help but feel this is some kind of slant against Yamcha since all of the wolf guys have been KO'd early on.
- I know the androids have "infinite energy" and "infinite" means "not depleting," so logically they would still have "infinite" energy years after the Cell Saga. But good god does 17 bringing up the fact that he and 18 have "infinite" energy bother me. I mean it does make them a little unique sure, but... how did Gero do that? How? These things still work years and years later. They should have wished up Gero's lab notes and had Bulma modify Krillin, Roshi, and Tien.
- Okay, Krillin and that Shosha guy were definitely flying this episode. That or physics is just f'cked here because they dashed to the right and were punching and kicking for a good 6-10 seconds at like hyperspeed. Yes this is just Artistic License but I expected to see more of the pitfalls of Universe 7 not being able to fly.
- 18 seemingly killed a guy by kicking him really hard (he was playing dead though). And yet no one's been worried about Frieza... I mean didn't Frieza just torture a guy last episode? Did he beat him halfway to death and toss him over the ring when he was done?
Killing is against the rules, but deliberately inflicting pain on a helpless fighter is not. Apparently.
As for throwing a helpless fighter off, that's what they're supposed to do to a fighter that can't fight anymore. Ring-out is the only method of elimination from this tournament. KO's don't count.

Not that it helps much, but Gero creating a perpetual motion engine is, IMHO, actually more believable than the idea of him taking two completely ordinary teenagers and making them more powerful than the guy who conquered over seventy of the universe's twenty-eight inhabited planets.
Oh, and to be fair to Krillin he apparently got more KOs than every eliminated fighter. If every member of the U7 team does as well as Krillin did, almost half of all combatants in the tourney would be eliminated by U7 alone.
Besides, it was pretty much expected almost everyone will get their 15 minutes of fame before it comes down to Goku and Vegeta in the end.

And even that might be asking too much.
But yeah, Krillin got to actually take some people out. 2 assists, and one straight up elimination, so Beerus bitching him out over being eliminated is not the least bit fair. Especially since I don't even think Frost needed to wait until Krillin was distracted.
One Strip! One Strip!Frieza's not the type to accidentally kill someone, barring the time he went Golden and said he might accidentally kill Goku due to not knowing how strong his new power was.
Look at the beating he gave Vegeta on Namek.
I've said the same myself. Frieza has a very good idea of how to wreck someone without killing them.
One Strip! One Strip!

Vegeta's indignation was wonderful.
"All you're doing is covering his ears!"
