Um I'm pretty sure Krillin's reasoning was if i can handle it then it is fine, if not you can protect our child better being stronger and unable to be sensed. If Krillin faces a threat and dies, 18 can still do something. If 18 faces one and dies then krillin and maron both are dead. It wasn't hey be a good woman and stay in the kitchen.
I mean, it kind of was, he literally told her to have dinner ready when he gets back.
And if you're going off of the logic that something has to be done, then it makes more sense to send the one who has a higher chance (relative in the situation, but still) of actually being able to do something.

You don't leave your weakest assests to guard the most important things while the best scout things out. No one had any clue how strong Freeza was going to be. If yall see it as sexist that is your thing you can view it that way. 18 has only ever been shown to be motivated by money in regards to running into a fight.

There was no scouting out. Really, they both might as well have gone, but if you're arguing from the position that one of them needed to go, she makes more sense than him.
It's even weirder because in Super they basically have him say the same thing for the Battle of Gods retelling portion, but they still have him be the one to go for the Resurrection of F retelling portion.
And it's still kind of ridiculous that people think that because she was motivated by money to enter a tournament with no stakes, she literally can only be motivated to fight with money.
That and the situation we're talking about now, or her entering the Tournament of Power, are not at all comparable.

She makes sense if you are sayin ending the threat is most important and not the life of their child. If someone had to stay and protect my child I'd pick the one that is stronger and can remain undetected. She still wanted money for the T.o.P. though even after hearing the truth.

Frieza would have destroyed the planet so nothing could be done.
The whole thing would have been a bust if it wasn't for Whis.
Better to leave Marron at Bulma's & have both warriors just to be sure.
Its not hard to get a babysitter.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Why can't a Saiya-jin get knocked out next?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Honestly, the reason 18 didn't go, is because Toriyama didn't want her to go, and justified it with a really bad reason. Simple as that.
I mean, look at how he explained the thing with how they defeated Buu. He didn't. Vegeta just decided to use the Sprit Bomb instead of teleporting Gohan in like he should have because Toriyama wanted Goku to be the hero again.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm just shocked anyone called Krillin and 18 one of the worst pairings. After all, Naruto is around the corner, and Krillin and 18 don't get enough screentime or blockbuster movies hyping characters for 2 seconds of screentime or a complete tone change to appeal to shipping losers.
If the problem mostly comes from 18 not doing anything, i'm blaming the writers and how the characters is presented (A woman not interested in anything). Is kinda sad that the only woman who ever shows interest in doing anything, is Bulma. Meh. I've already know what to expect of Toriyama, so, meh.
Speaking of the episode, kinda disappointed "Smug Pup" has a really, really neat concept (A blind fighter, like Toph and Daredevil), but he is out in the first episode. Oh well, that's sad.
Solid episode, I like it.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.

I mean, there wasn't really anything wrong with the English dub version of that movie conversation, so it really seems to be more a case of bad translations.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!
