I wonder if those two will exist at all in the manga. Something tells me they won't.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!We don't know how Goku and Vegeta got Super Saiyan 2, and Goku does Ultra Super Saiyan in the time chamber at the same time Cell does outside it and then they both point out it's worthless.
Like, Cell even points out how "Ultra Super Saiyan" is so simple and easy to do it's just stupid. Just pump up your muscles.
That's literally all it is. Anyone can do it. Frieza did it. Roshi does it. It's not special. Not even slightly.
Like. Don't get me wrong. I like it. And I like having a female character with it, because not enough media draws women muscley in general. I think Caulifla and Kale are too. Skinny. Waifish. Wimpy-looking. In their base forms. The fact that the transformations buff them up a bit is appreciated.

I mean, I can accept criticisms of how the characters have been handled, even if I side-eye some examples given, but make no mistake: If you think it would be better if Caulifla and Kale just weren't characters period, and the "female Super-Saiyan" gap in the universe remained unfilled forever? We cannot be friends. Our ideologies will forever remain completely incompatible, and this serves as my declaration of war.
So, y'know. Advance warning.
Because everything about them screams "Toei bullshit."
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I mean they have to be capable opponents.
I say their a victim of circumstance & if they weren't introduced in such a time-sensitive situation their power-ups could have been handled better.
Yeah seriously, what the fuck happened to the characters being jacked up?
Exactly, its rushed cause they literally have less than 2 day Goddamn days to train.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I mean, it doesn't help that the furthest either one can go is 2 and this new Berserker thing, and those two forms are probably equal to each other; Gohan has his Mystic state, Trunks has his Super Saiyan Rage form, and Goku and Vegeta have Super Saiyan Blue, all of which are God level at their full potential. All the Universe 6 Saiyans are so last season it hurts.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!I mean. Roshi's fighting, so I'm not sure to what extent that matters.
I like Roshi as a martial artist. Roshi training characters again has a certain appeal to me. Just handwave that he has some extra heavy turtle shells that nobody's worn before that he had custom made like the rest.
But Roshi as an active combatant is. Like, nevermind power levels, am I really the only one who remembers how half his thing was passing things on to the new generation and retiring?
The whole "Super Saiyan forms used to be special" train left the minute Trunks showed up. It's been obligatory for every Saiyan who appears to get it since then and the power escalation has given the same courtesy to SSJ2 (and 3 in the games). It just seems frivolous to complain about in this day and age.

This song needs more love.~BlackYakuzu94: Despite not feeling too strongly about that point myself, I can at least understand where you (and other like-minded folks) are coming from. A common concern/misinformed opinion that bothers me about Episode 100 is how Caulifla will, supposedly, get SSJB during her training with Goku, despite every description blatantly "implying" that Kale will screw up things up and ruin the opportunity due to her jealous problem. At most, she'll just get the SSJ Grade form in the preview. Considering how many entries are in the Ass Pull section of Super's YMMV page, I highly doubt that now, specifically, will cause an uproar over a non-existent issue.
~Zelenal: Highly unlikely. At the most, the manga would probably retool their introduction to Cabba, alter the Kale fight (ex: having Caulifla actively team-up with Cabba to restrain Kale rather than Cabba getting curbstomped and Caulifla boosting her way to SSJ2 to deflect an Eraser Cannon blast), and flesh them out more (monthly manga vs weekly show). The manga is suppose to advertise the anime, so I highly doubt it would omit two canon female Super Saiyans just because the plot (and marketing) had to rush them.
~LSBK: Their workaround seems to be "let's just save it for the transformations"! Though, even then, YMMV.
~slimcoder: Agreed.

Peoople complain about Caulifla and Kale learning Super Saiyan within a few hours of knowing of its existence when Cabba learned Super Saiyan in even less time.
Like, just accept that U6 Saiyans adapt to Super Saiyan quickly, and that Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale are all Saiyan prodigies in their own rights.

I mean, she's pretty much getting every major transformation through the series just because. Considering that the protagonists had to work their assess off to get those transformations, even her own fellow Universe 6 Saiyan, it's pretty eye roll worthy. Trunks and Goten at least had the excuse of training with each other from a young age to justify their early transformations, and they were only limited to the first level and 3 while fused.
I'm willing to see how this plays out, but I'm not really liking the information I'm getting at the moment.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
