I'm just wondering, if the Grand Priest wants the universes to be destroyed...what's his plan? Why would he want that?
Since the Angels won't be getting erased, I'd guess whatever hypothetical plot he's concocting involves them somehow.
Agreed. They'd just destroy them all again. And even if Zeno showed favoritism towards Goku, all it would take is a little nudging from the Grand Priest to convince Zeno that Goku should be punished for bringing everyone back.
Now I'm curious as to how this arc is going to end....no way they're just killing off all of these characters, never to be seen again, right?

Gowasu would probably welcome the sweet embrace of non-existence at this point.
My Megaman and MegaTen RPG LiveblogsLike, even if this arc ends with U7 winning and Goku making a wish on the Super Dragon Balls to bring the 7 erased Universes back and Zen-Oh and the Grand Priest just let him do it and get away with it for whatever reason, we're still going to have to sit through watching 6 more universes of fun and interesting characters, many of whom we've met previously and have got to know as people, get erased from existence as this arc goes on.

Eh. Universe 6 is the only one I could really care about, and that's mostly because seeing them be erased would have completely wasted the time spent focusing on them.
I definitely don't think this will end with 7 universes permanently erased because that tosses out too much story potential. Given Zen-Oh's behaviour I kind of expect in the end he'll just be convinced not to kill everyone (with him first being convinced not to erase universes mid tournament, or with more characters surviving to the end despite most of the universe being knocked out)
Isn't there a single person who wants to see at least one more universe get erasured?
So far, people have just been hoping for not or for Karrot wish them back.
That's too interesting.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. My guess is that 3 and 10 are the next up due to how little focus they have gotten (Gowasu is really the only outstanding link), 2 will last as long as Ribrianne and the Yardrat do, 4 is safe until the mystery guys are revealed, 6 will last a while due to Hit, 7 is obvious, and 11 will be last.
Now what I wonder is whether or not 7 will actually win. It's guaranteed that they survive but Jiren could be the one to make the wish to bring everyone back. That's definitely a hero of justice thing to do.

This song needs more love.Blue is above both forms, because that's what we've seen.
Saiyan Beyond God we really don't know if that's a thing anymore. Base Goku was certainly very powerful in ROF and some parts of Super, but it appears to have been retconned (and the manga didn't seem to ever use it).
Since Beerus mentioned that Goku lost "a little bit" of the power after absorbing Super Saiyan God, it could be that Saiyan Beyond God, if based on that, would be somewhat weaker. Or it could be stronger, if the idea is that they've surpassed Super Saiyan God (the need for Super Saiyan Blue suggests otherwise to me).

I just hope that if Goku uses the Super Dragon Balls to bring back the other universes it's because he feels bad and not just because he wants to fight Jiren again.
This song needs more love.
