Jesus christ. I admit the commentary of the gods is hilarious when is done so small.
So, U9 is a goner next week? well, good by Cute bunny and the rest of the Darkstalkers rejects.
Also, Vegeta attacking U6? I thought twins worked together, yo!

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Everyone aside from Gohan's group and Goku are eliminated by getting teamed up on, and Jiren beats Goku. Time runs out immediately after Goku is eliminated, leaving Gohan's group, Jiren, and some other randos still standing. U7 wins because Gohan and his group managed to repel all attackers while also staying alive to the end.
Yeah, it was explicitly within the rules that, should multiple universes have fighters left standing, the universe with the most fighters left wins. It's the entire reason why there's a time limit in the first place.
Also, I said that the time would run out immediately after Goku loses. Jiren wouldn't get the chance to try to take out the rest of U7.

Probably when none of us are looking.

One Strip! One Strip!

I mean, it means that their whole plan of actually working together paid off, rather than stupidly getting themselves eliminated for no reason.
All they have to do is end up with the most members left after 48 minutes. Doesn't matter how they do it, just do it.
Hell, just let everyone else fight while you hide and try to avoid confrontations. It's not flashy, or exciting, but it's better than getting nuked by some god-kid, so....

He is just standing there... MENACINGLY!
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.![]()
And they're the only ones with this plan? That just makes everyone else seem stupid, and while we don't know much about the others, that they would all have worse teamwork than...this would be a pretty hard sale to me.
Also, in order for it to work, it carries the implicit assumption that all the people who could take them out easily were defeated by others, probably Goku and Vegeta. Thinking about this makes me think less they were smart, and more everyone else was just stupid/they stood around doing nothing while all the hard work was handled by everyone else. Either way, they don't actually come out looking good.
Really, it just sounds like an unsatisfying way to go with the characters.
If Team Douchebag do all the work eliminating the other fighters, then Team Nerd don't look good for staying put and claiming victory.
It's not being eliminated like an idiot if you're the active force behind victory.
I'm now thinking Pushover's idea is likely simply because of how hilariously bad it makes Team Nerd look while acting like they matter.

Well, I never said the writing made sense, just pointing the win conditions out. I fully expect "Team Nerd" to hilariously collapse in some way. Although, not without taking out a few opponents.
If they can take out at least 3 to 4 fighters, while Goku/Vegeta/Frieza (the carries) fuck off somewhere, then that's a win for them.
Besides, it looks like Vegeta is too busy being caught in a looped animation fighting Groot from GOTG, so how useful is he being right now? And the guy Goku "eliminated" really only eliminated himself because he was an idiot, so....
They still have Frieza and Android 17. Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza by themselves are strong enough to one-shot a good chunk of just U6. Team Nerd doesn't even have to do much, just don't knocked off, while taking opportunities to knock others off when they can.
Let the carries carry, I say.

I mean, Gohan's the leader so it fits.
But yea, my main issue with the teamwork angle in this case isn't so much the teamwork itself, but rather that it's a convenient way of singling out a group of characters while the big hitters just do their own thing.
EDIT: God this post came late. This was supposed to be a response to LSBK's and Saiga's post from the last page.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Back to Botamo. Even if Botamo propaply didn't absorb all Attacks from Team Nerd, can we guess, that he at least absorbed Gohans Attack.
I mean, there must be a Reason, why Botamo was included in that Group?
Also, I haven't given up all Hope for Team Nerd. We had one Scene in one Episode, where they didn't do Damage. But okay, I guess I just have Stockholm-Syndrom.
Ya know it is sad Gohan is not in the same league as his dad & Vegeta.
Especially since the dude has the potential to be stronger than the both of them.
It also makes the Fusion Reborn movie pretty funny since Gohan one-shotted Frieza there & now Frieza is in a whole other league than Gohan.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Why are you still upset about it? It's been two years, Dragon Ball as a whole has made it a point of establishing that Goku & Vegeta are the only characters who truly matter when you get down to it. It sucks for fans of other characters, and it's not a direction I agree with, but it's how the series wants to present itself and it's how people are accepting it.

Quick someone scream Nerd.
