Because nobody cares about Chiaoutzu, one way or another. He's such a non issue that he's just never gotten on anybody's radar.

One Strip! One Strip!I'd like to point out that Yamcha has done more useful things than Chaozu. All Chaozu has ever done is get beaten up by Krillin at the 22nd Budoukai, die to Piccolo Daimaou, the blow himself up uselessly against Nappa. That's it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! When I watched Resurrection F in theaters when Tien said he left Yamcha behind the entire place exploded into uproarious laughter.
Chiaotzu though he was said before Yamcha, I heard absolutely no reaction to him being mentioned as left behind for his own safety.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."![]()
But nobody cares about Chiaotzu, so everyone focuses on Yamcha.
Not a shock.
Like I said; people love mocking him, and he drowns out all other aspects of his character because they find it funny. It's the same thing with people focusing on Goku's supposed status as a bad father, the only difference is, there's little actual grounding for that.
One Strip! One Strip! The fact that Goku would rather resurrect Frieza than recruit Yamcha will never not be funny to me.
This song needs more love. The fact that Yamcha was doing the whole Tsundere trying to act cool while waiting to be asked thing and never got asked was the best part.
I imagine it wouldn't be half as fun if it didn't always bite him in the ass.
One Strip! One Strip! That depends on why the individual is is mocking Yamucha...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I am basically with Saiga when it comes to losing respect for Toriyama and losing my mind over Dragon Ball. Recently, it feels like I losing all of my interest in Dragon Ball Super to the point where even the exciting things from my favorite DBZ Tubers only makes me groan. T Ghe strange thing is that I don't hate Dragon Ball but I am slowing developing contempt and I strangely existential in regards to my being a fan. I'll admit that I didn't know about Dragon Ball as much as I thought but when I started to learn more about Dragon Ball, the more I actually really hated how Super seem to lose its spirit to the point where it feels like a shell of its former self. I will stick around for the ride but I just don't feel as strongly about Dragon Ball as I used to.
I wonder if this is just the side effect of my growing up and learning things that my young, naive brain would had never had accepted? Or if I am just lethargic?
Though I've seen we've apparently moved on to making fun of Yamcha, I do have one more thing to say about father thing, specifically Piccolo's speech to Goku and how people use that as "evidence" that Piccolo is the better father figure: not only is Piccolo wrong about Gohan's thought process the entire speech actually makes him a giant hypocrite.
If Gohan were a normal child, it would carry more weight, and that's the lens most people seem to view it through. Thing is, Gohan is not a normal child and Piccolo is the one responsible for that. If he hadn't of kidnapped Gohan, Krillin and the others would have taken him back to Chichi, and he would have continued to live his normal life. Now, it's good that that didn't happen, because if it it did the encounter with the Saiyans would have gone much worse without Gohan's contribution, but the point of the matter is that Piccolo is the one who tried to make Gohan out to be a warrior, who needs to put his fears and feelings aside to defeat the enemy, specifically because he saw Gohan's hidden power. So he really has no right to make a self-righteous speech about putting the boy in danger, especially when he of all people should understand Goku's thought process on the subject. And he certainly shouldn't be lauded like he is for it by the fans. And, sure, you could say "But Piccolo's not his father" but seeing as the whole thing is used as a sticking point as to why Piccolo is better in that role, that really hurts the case being made.
And with that, I'll leave it alone unless anyone else has something they'd like to critique me on with this point.

Well that's a huge understatement. Without Gohan, everyone dies to Vegeta. Seriously, the defeat of Vegeta was a freaking miracle. Multiple miracles. It's probably the closest fight in all of Dragon Ball with only the fight against Freeza being able to compare.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!He helped delay Freeza until Goku showed up. That's pretty big.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!In general I don't really get the whole "Leave someone behind for their protection" in the context of Dragon Ball. When the world is at stake, bring freaking everyone. If they die they can be brought back and if Dende dies the Namekians can bring him back.
This song needs more love.

I like how Krillin is listed on the Memetic Loser page, even though he's a pretty constant and helpful force aside from the Buu Arc.
Why don't more people make fun of Chaotzu instead?
