Also that. Seriously why has Pan never gone super saiyan? It's like they're afraid to do it despite there already being other canon immigrant female saiyans that have that ability.
That just makes it worse to me. Pan had multiple points where she could have realistically met the requirements to transform. I mean, her freaking grandpa died, her own family turned on her because of Baby shenannigans, Giru betrayed her on that one planet and she actually did throw a kind of rage fit right after that (but no SSJ signs), etc...
It's very frustrating to watch.

Well, if it means anything, which is probably doesn't, Dragon Ball Online and Dragon Ball Heroes has female characters who become Super Saiyans.
But I always thought the original reason we never saw a female Super Saiyan in the manga or anime was because Toriyama thought it would be difficult to design a female Saiyan Saiyan and really had no idea it would look like, so it became retconned into being a male only trait... but then Toriyama retconned the exclusive nature of Super Saiyan again through Dragon Ball Online as it revealed that humans can wish to become Super Saiyans through Shenron, but of course in regards of taking the significance of Dragon Ball Online as far how well it can fit into the Dragon Ball universe goes, is really up to you.

Yeah, that's why I'm even more annoyed. Other female Saiyans have been retconned SSJ transformations before despite the original excuses, yet Pan is still mysteriously missing that. Her freaking descendants with even less Saiyan blood in their DNA can pull it off too. There is pretty much 0 reason why she doesn't have it now, unless you want to counter that she's inherited Mystic power from Gohan or something. Which she also hasn't shown ever, so it's still stupid.

should've went with SS 4 . get a new pair of leather pants for free!
That's just a rumour. Most likely reason we didn't see it in the manga is because we only saw Pan in the epilogue, where she was only four. For GT, that's actually rather confusing, because unlike the other characters they did focus on Pan a lot so I'm not sure why they wouldn't want to do so.
If Pan ever did turn Super Saiyan, they'd probably make her the weakest Super Saiyan there ever was....>_>
Which, hey, is still better than Bra.
My various fanfics.Given that the anime and GT made her extremely strong for a non-Super Saiyan, that's doubtful.
She'd be the weakest Super Saiyan of the main cast but way stronger than any Super Saiyan to come before.
Actually, in GT she's said to be weaker than Goten but given the space stuff that might actually be counting his Super Saiyan form. At one point, when she's pissed off, Trunks thinks she's stronger than him. So if GT Pan ever gets Super Saiyan she'll probably be stronger than Goten and Trunks.

But base Gotenks would accidentally make her explode with a threatening glare.
The weakest SS we've seen in the series is actually Bardock; Toriyama said he was below the elite saiyans his whole life (Toriyama disregarded the anime special long ago), but above most low-class warriors. A typical elite (Nappa) has a power level of 4,000. A typical low-class warrior, maybe slightly to moderately above average (Raditz) has a power level of 1,500. SS is a x50 booster. So SS Bardock would be in between 75,000 and 200,000. For context, Goku was at 3 million in base the first time he turned SS, and Freeza's weakest and most suppressed form, less than 0.5% of his power, has a power level of 530,000. All things considered, SS Bardock should be weaker than Krillin. Maybe even by a lot.
GT Pan easily beat up Android 20 in base, so she should probably be stronger than any non-fused SS in Z. Then again that might just be GT hax at work.

Head of DBZ Specials Guy: "What's that? Vegeta Special where he saves the day with his enormous penis and discovers Super Saiyan 5? Can do!"

They fuse at the very end of the match to troll her, because that seems like something Trunks and Goten would do for fun.
"Oh, you can go SSJ, Pan? That's cute, have you met Gotenks yet?" -fuses and runs circles around her before starting his curbstomp-

A boy can dream, can't she?

x5 Power equality in Dragon Ball? All long as the franchise is Fantasy Kitchen Sink that will never happen.
x4 How disillusioning is that? Krillin beating up a Super Saiyan? But honestly when you do the math, it certainly isn't far fetched. I mean Krillin's power level has gotta be near a million by the time the show is over. Or am I overestimating?

I really doesn't matter transformations you have. If there one thing Dragon Ball has always stressed on, is that it's all about quality not quantity.
I mean Frieza technically had four different transformations and Goku had essentially one. Guess who won the fight?

Honestly, with the scale of GT, I think Pan's Super Saiyan transformation would have been kinda laughed off and not given the gravity it deserved.
"Grandpa, look! I'm a Super Saiyan!"
"That's cute, honey. But I'm sort of fighting terrible demons so powerful they can sneeze and unmake you. Why don't you borrow Trunks' time machine so you can go back to when that transformation was relevant?"

Some feats and statements in the android arc (the weaker Yamcha being declared "a considerable source of energy" by Gero, Yamcha being mistaken for Goku, the weaker Tenshinhan dodging Gero's eye beams while "over one million" Nailccolo from the previous arc couldn't see a slower attack from ~3% Freeza move, all of the humans including Krillin keeping up with a sick base Goku's flight speed which was seen as an impressive feat when Vegeta kept up with Goku's travel speed in the Saiyan arc, etc.) imply Krillin actually has a power level in the low single digit millions, though they're somewhat ambiguous. He should at be 200,000 or more, at the very least, going by what Vegeta says about him in the Namek arc, though I'd actually estimate him at about 4,000,000 by the Buu arc, based on the android arc stuff. That's just me.
When you think about it, SS itself isn't that big of a deal. It's a x50 booster, and according to the guidebooks you only have to have "a battle power above the standard saiyan level" ("standard level" is probably Raditz's level...) and "a tranquil heart awakened by intense rage" to become one. It just so happened that all of the main Super Saiyans we see were super duper haxxed and powerful far before they transformed. An "average" Super Saiyan (like Bardock) would be above any of Freeza's henchmen, but far below even the lowest form of Freeza himself (as well as the Armored Squadron, Abo and Kado, King Cold, and Cooler). Only exception would be Oozaru Vegeta, and even he'd be below any "elite" Super Saiyan or above. And as far as the saiyans go, prior to the events on Earth and Namek, Vegeta was the only saiyan in history who would be stronger than 1st form Freeza as a Super Saiyan (but still weaker than 2nd form and beyond). They could still be a threat to 1st form Freeza as an army, but if he gets to even a fraction of his real power... well, let's just say that he really didn't have anything to fear from the legend.
The massive power creep (thanks, Freeza arc) can sometimes make you forget that King Vegeta, the strongest warrior of one of the galaxy's most feared warrior races, only had a power level of about 10,000, Ginyu at 120,000 was one of the top dogs in the whole universe, and Raditz at just 1,500 was strong enough to conquer numerous planets with them being powerless to stop him.
