First Cell, then Hit, now Frieza, Vegeta can't catch a break.

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. So, I'm trying to get a bead on the current ages of the characters based on the lengths of the numerous time skips:
For example, Yamchan and Bulma start the series at 16, must be at least 17 during the Red Ribbon arc (since a year would have needed to pass for the balls to no longer be inert
), then would have been 20 during the 22nd Budokai. Another 3 years pass, making them both 23, and then 5 years pass so they would be 28, then another year, making them 29.
In the Cell Saga, both are approximately 32 (3 years after Goku arrives, but I'm not sure how much time passes between Namek and Frieza arriving on Earth again). Then another 7 years between the end of the Cell Saga and the Buu Saga (so that's 39).
After that, I'm somewhat unclear on how much time has passed since the defeat of Buu and the beginning of Super / Battle of Gods (especially since the time between the series and the movie has been altered). And then, there's how far into the future the end of Z is.
Once I'm sure about these two, I'll try and get a bead on the ages for the other characters, with the exception of Goku, who didn't physically age during the 7 years he was dead.
One Strip! One Strip!First of all, a year didn't pass between the Pilaf Saga and the RRA Saga. Only I think eight months did. This is quite possibly the first plot hole in the series.
Second, a year passes between the destruction of Namek and Freeza showing up.
Third, I believe 3-4 years pass between Boo and Battle of Gods.
EDIT: Worked it all out. This is ignoring usage of the HTC in Super and what their ages are by the epilogue of the manga.
Roshi is 354.
Vegeta was born 52 years ago but is 54.
Bulma, Yamcha, and Tenshinhan are 51.
Krillin is 48.
Goku and Chichi were born 47 years ago but Goku is 41.
Oolong is 44.
Piccolo Jr. was born 31 years ago but is 32.
Gohan was born 27 years ago but is 28.
Trunks is more or less 18.
Goten is more or less 17.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Heh. I heard about that little detail (more from Mistare Fusion). I was just assuming that even it's still supposed to be about a year, despite the plot hole.
Anyway, the Dragonball cast is one of the oldest shonen casts around huh? Our main hero is in his forties in a genre where it's usually traditional for them to not be past their early twenties at the most. It's so easy to forget how long we've been watching these guys for.
One Strip! One Strip!Pilaf Saga > 8 mo TS > 21st Budoukai > RRA Saga > ~3y TS > 22nd Budoukai > Piccolo Daimaou Saga > ~3y TS > 23rd Budoukai > 5y TS > Raditz > ~1y TS > Vegeta and Nappa > 10 day TS > Bulma et al go to space > 1 month TS > Namek explodes > 1y TS > Freeza returns > 3y TS > Androids > 7y TS > Boo > 10y TS > 28th Budoukai
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Holy shit. That looks amazing. It's like I'm playing the manga!
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's definitely nice looking. The classic Arc System Works clash system works well with the Pummel Duel style of Dragonball.
Wonder if any characters from Super will get in?

One Strip! One Strip!Did you not see Golden Freeza? Sure, it's technically Resurrection 'F' but that's close enough.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!3v3.
Trying to steal Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite's thunder, Eh, Bamco and Ark Sys?

Watch Symphogear1. I'm just gonna come right out and say this; has anyone else noticed that, while in DB, DBZ and DBGT, the characters tended to show off a great deal of skin, sometimes apparently just to show off the characters' physiques (often more than was necessary in some instances), DBS tends to rarely do that? I can think of only one time when Goku was without a shirt and that was when he was recovering from a fight for a brief time. Just thought I'd point that out.
2. Was that Yurin girl just out to defeat Tien in a fight or just straight up kill him?
3. What exactly made Videl so... simple? I mean, she used to be a tough as nails tomboy who didn't even let her father tell her what to do. The kind of girl who made Gohan quiver when she was angry, to point where she almost rivaled Chi-Chi in this regard.

The Ho Yay is so strong.
It's like Goku completely forgot this is the man who murdered his best friend in cold blood, and his entire family and all of Earth's people in a deleted timeline.
I love Super.
Funny thing is it's been 20-40 years. Grudges have to be buried sooner or later or there's no progress, so Goku's attitude toward Frieza I can kind of sympathize with. If weren't for every other stupid thing Goku's done in this story arc I'd even say this wasn't a terrible idea. Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and possibly 17 are the only ones who would be able to make a difference and that's not enough people.
Whis can just rewind things if Frieza does anything stupid.
