Keep in mind that the writers of Super also said that Black is the strongest character under Beerus. So take their words with a grain of salt.

Except for Vegeta after training, Fused Zamasu, Vegetto, and Spirit Sword Trunks, but those were all twists within the arc itself.

Going by that criteria, Vegetto might not count if you want to go by what the manga says.

Kind of musing about how something like Caulifla's gang could even come about given Cabba's comments on the U6 Saiyans, and I wonder if it's a counter-culture thing, where some of the kids reject the goody-two-shoes reputation of their race because they think its boring or lame. Given how they're described as "punks" rather than criminals, maybe they're like the Greasers of the 50s, or "insert favored counter-culture movement of your favored decade".

@Soble:

A rich scientist at that.

At least Yamcha i could understand, since he was why around woman, or something and wanted to wish that away.

I'm also not sure creating someone from scratch is something Shenron can do.

As for Raditz training, i think that would depend on what his personal hell is like.

Honestly, i am still curious what the other villains personal helps are like.

[up]Caulifla certainly doesn't seem all that bad. Relative to Saiyans like Nappa i mean.

As for 17, he certainly seems to be one of the strongest on the team, even if he's not the third strongest.

it'd be like trying to use the Infinity Gauntlet on the Living Tribunal. It'd have no effect and the Living Tribunal would just undo everything you did with the damn thing.

Then again, the Living Tribunal was recently killed by Order and Chaos. Though admittedly, it was because the new cosmic hiarchy wasn't set yet.

At what point in time was that "17 is third strongest" quote referencing? Because I could easily believe him being third strongest before Gohan trained, but after it's a toss-up between those two for third place.

Not like it matters, strength is relative to what's good for the plot.

Also, according to a writer for the show: Tenshinhan is indeed stronger than Roshi.

Lame. So GT perma-killed Piccolo and Buu (technically), and also excluded Tien and Yamcha.

Well yeah. They're Tien and Yamcha.

Also, I've been watching more of Mistare Fusion's videos.

For the most part, a lot of what he says is stuff I've said myself (and I'm sure there have been others who've beaten that horse) however, with his third video on the Frieza Saga, I finally find myself partially disagreeing with him.

He says there was no reason for Krillin and Gohan to hide their powers from the first two scouts they met upon arriving on Namek, and that because they did so, these two guys destroyed the ship.

I can see the logic. If they'd just kicked their asses right from the get go, Kami-colo's ship wouldn't have gotten all shot up, leaving them in such a dire situation in terms of escaping. However, if they hadn't lured those dudes in, and if they'd known how strong Krillin and Gohan were from the get go, they'd have called for back up that was far stronger, and our heroes might have died right away, or at least they would have been more actively hunted than they are.

That's my thought on the matter. I can't deny thought that the ship getting wrecked was a direct consequence of not taking those two dudes out right away. I wanna hear what the rest of you think on the matter.

If they had raised their powers too high, they would have run the risk of being detected by Freeza's other goons.

Stealth was their only viable strategy on Namek. At least until Goku got there.

My thoughts exactly.

They definitely would have been caught much sooner. As it was, Frieza ignored them unless they were right in his face, and that's why they got as far as they did.

I just wanted to see what others thought.

In Frieza's window when he was looking down on Earth, it was clearly our Earth. I always thought this took place on a different planet not our Earth.

They've been doing that for awhile, and it keeps throwing me off. I'm betting it's just easier for them to animate the real planet instead of what the Dragon World is actually supposed to look like.

I still find it weird how Bulma and Popo test out the Nameless Namekian's ship by traveling to Jupiter. Because Jupiter apparently exists in the Dragon Ball universe.
