The bad guys being able to keep their bodies and power while in Hell just raises far too many questions. For starters, who in the world gave them their bodies and why? It also raises a contradiction since Freeza had his body in Hell in Resurrection "F" yet was brought back in the pieces Future Trunks reduced him to and was revived in front of the group instead of where Future Trunks killed him. This is a major contradiction since the way resurrection works is a major plot point in the Saiyan Saga and the end of the Namek Saga.
Honestly, there being multiple Hells doesn't make that much sense, either. I can accept there being different check-in stations for the four quadrants since fighters from, say, the South Quadrant wouldn't be able to reach the South Kaiou otherwise but multiple Hells? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Could have sworn the consensus is that you either love Super or you don't. People who like it (or at least are interested) watch, those who hate it just denounce it's existence.
I already know the series is trash, but it's trash with the occasional cool moment and it's mostly nostalgia for me anyway.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I mean, before this episode I feel like I could handwave Frieza's body in hell as being artistic license.
Like, in actuality he was one of those bodiless cloud puff things, but he looks like Cyber-Frieza in the cocoon just so we'd be able to recognize him.
I have the same explanation for Dabura, Bulma, Videl and Chichi in the anime filler in Heaven. They have tails instead of legs, which to me indicates they don't "actually" have bodies in Heaven, but the animation is using their faces and torsos and clothes just so we'd be able to recognize them and the artists would be able to have something to animate and it wouldn't get too confusing over who is talking to who.

You're either alive or you're not.
That's what I went with, too, but then this episode went and disproved that. That and it still makes Freeza's revival location not make sense unless they just so happen to be in the area where Freeza was killed.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! What about multiple dead worlds?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That counts as a cool thing right?
it could have been if done in a less anime-cliche kind of way
On Broly vs Kale's motivation, which I kind of missed when it was being discussed: Kale's motivation is better than Broli's in-universe, but far worse when you look at how the archetype pops up in other anime and what a terrible character type it is at that.
However I don't think having Broly hate Vegeta would be an improvement. It'd make sense, but it'd take a lot out of the movie: the connection to Goku, the disconnect between Paragus' desire and Broly's, the way Goku's appearance screws up Paragus' plan in a way he couldn't expect (so he's not just an idiot) etc.
For me, with some extra screentime the ideal portrayal would be for Paragus to have the same motivation, and Broly to really embody the Saiyan ideals as he is the Super Saiyan ideal Vegeta originally described - he doesn't hate Vegeta, as he sees him as a true Saiyan for his brutality. But when Goku gets involved, and with more time to spend with him, Broly finds his nature to be an affront to what a Saiyan should be which sparks the conflict. Then Vegeta's conflict is between the ideal he originally strove for against his current allies, right at the point where he's kind of in limbo.
(3) Let's not bring Kingdom Hearts into this.
Goku showing up would still screw with Paragus's plan, and the disconnect could simply become Paragus wanting to humiliate Vegeta and then take over the Earth, but letting Broly off the leash means never putting the leash back on.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Alright, but there'd still be a disconnect between Paragus wanting to wait for the comet to kill Vegeta and Broly wanting to deck Vegeta in the schnozz. Vegeta even spends more time around Broly so that's just more time Broly's desire to rip Vegeta's face off has to sit and fester, while Goku being on the planet just provides an unknown variable for Paragus.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I guess Broly really does embody everything about an actual saiyan with no moral compass; just a bloodthirsty brute.
It could have actually made him a good foil for Goku (A saiyan who still loves to fight, but without the bloodlust) and Vegeta (another saiyan who is struggling between his pride as one and the increasing influence the earth has had)

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.As far as Super's quality is concerned, I'm in the guilty pleasure camp. I know it's not particularly well-written and lacks internal logic but I like how it's not afraid to just go all-out with its insane fanservice.
This song needs more love. There are things I love in Super, things I don't love, and things I love being done in a way that I hate.
Super has been tossing me all over the place like a rag doll.
One Strip! One Strip!

I mean, the thing is, after Resurrection F, this seems almost inevitable to me.
