I hope they still have Majin Buu spazzing. XD
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!
x5 Except both of them are Half Saiyans, which have been stated numerous times to possess more potential than full-blooded Saiyans, and the fact that they would have trained to gain the forms as Gotenks, who's technically a Half Saiyan as well, means he'd probably have both of their massive potentials to draw on during said training. Hell, I'm pretty sure it was even stated that the two of them were training in the Chamber as well.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Her gender is irrelevant. Would it be as bad if she was a guy?
The point of her & Kale's existence is to provide more teammates for their universes as well as bringing in more Saiyan's.
There is clearly no more intention to naturally bridging these characters power gaps logically so they basically said fuck it & just made the two new Saiyan's as strong as the protagonists so they are a legitimate threat.
Honestly I thought we all long accepted already that Super does not have consistent power-scaling. Its clearly just to get the plot moving & for whatever looks fun & entertaining.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I would have more of a problem with Caulifa getting SSJ 2, but the form itself is kind of pointless she's got second weakest transformation. Her getting it with no fanfare whatsoever is stupid, but Super itself has been stupid in general, so it's just another moment to add to the pile.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.![]()
I would have been just as annoyed if it had been a male doing this, because it still reeks of idiocy; even Goten and Trunks didn't have this much ease with gaining Super Saiyan (Trunks had been training in high gravity with his father, and it was flat out stated that the two of them trained/played together a lot beforehand), and it literally feels like the whole tingling feeling thing was thought up simply to justify Caulifla and Kale getting their respective states in time for the tournament.
Actually, Trunks and Goten did gain their Super Saiyan forms with ease. And Trunks didn't gain in the gravity chamber. Vegeta had no idea Trunks became a Super Saiyan.
And Kale got her form via anger. What are you talking about?
×4
That's not true these days though.

I was referring to Caulifla gaining Super Saiyan 1 and 2 within minutes; after all the shit that Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Future Trunks had to go thru to get to the second level, she gets to it without even knowing of its existence, without any training, unlike Goten and Trunks who actually did train to get 1, and without some kind of intense rage. Kale getting Legendary Super Saiyan first time is also kind of bullshit, especially since it's not even stated to be a mutation or anything like Broly's, and is instead supposed to be some "berserker state" of the Super Saiyan form in the promotional material. Yes, because obviously none of the other Saiyans have ever reached a level of rage that could potentially lead to them go berserk.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!
Goku and Vegeta achieved the second form off screen.
And frankly, it's no different than literally every or power up that's been given away like candy in Super. 17 suddenly being on the level with Super Saiyan Blue? Sure. Roshi being able to take on Freeza's soldiers and even hang with Goku's base for? Why not. Gohan jumping major spikes after slacking for years because he got serious for training for a few hours. Of course.
I don't necessarily see Kale and Caulifla as the hill to die on here.

Except Trunks and Goten didn't train to gain regular Super Saiyan,Goten couldn't even fly when he became a Super Saiyan.
They literally pulled it out nowhere, especially since Gohan and Vegeta didn't even know they where Super Saiyans.
And you're assuming Kale's Berserk form is something anyone can do and that's not the case.

Except Gohan has been training with Piccolo ever since the thing with Frieza happened; hell, Goku and Vegeta go to ask him to join the tournament with Universe 6 while he was training with Piccolo.
It is flat out stated that him and Trunks trained together before on a near regular basis, it's just that no one was even aware they were doing this and that they just saw it as playing together.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Not really. More importantly, whatever they did obviously wasn't as intense as how Gohan and Vegeta became Super Saiyans. He'll, focusing energy probably explains why they gained Super Saiyan.
Unless we're to believe they became Super Saiyans because a toy of theirs broke. Whichever way you cut it, how Trunks and Goten became Super Saiyans was probably far more ridiculous, as it is with everything they do.
At least Caulifla and Kale we got to see on screen. And Caulifla is older and has more combat experienced.
Honestly, their situation makes more sense and wasn't off screen.

It's an interesting thing that both Caulifla and Kale are rather unique in terms of becoming Super Saiyans. Caulifla can do it without the rage requirement, it just comes natural to her. Whereas Kale needs the rare requirement but once she taps into it she becomes... well... She-Broly, and is thus also uniquely gifted.
Yeah since Frieza died on Earth he ended up in Earth's hell. In fact this was also mentioned on tonight's episode of DBS on Toonami and the original Resurrection of Frieza movie.
And ohhhhhhh boy it didn't take long for this thread to start throwing around "Mary Sue". I'm not surprised but I'm still disappointed.

What if Trunks went back to a different time period?
