Goku clearly states Vegeta got to Blue on his own, UNLIKE HIM. So Blue requires getting God. And Vegeta does have God in the manga anyway.
Remember that Blue's official name is Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. Or, in other words, it is going Super Saiyan as a Super Saiyan God.
Just like Super Saiyan 2 is going Super Saiyan as a Super Saiyan.

While watching someone analyzing the next episode preview, I realized something: unless we learn more about the Original Super Saiyan, or we learn about Super Saiyans before or after them that Vegeta didn't know about, Caulifla is the first female Super Saiyan. EVER. Not even the first one in the series of Dragon Ball, the first confirmed female Super Saiyan in the history of the setting itself (discounting games)!
Part of me wants Bra to go Super Saiyan first just because the reactions could be hilarious.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Would that even matter anymore?
Does anybody actually like Pan in Super?
Well Goku logic usually boils down to:
- let my evil sibling who kidnapped my son and threatened the lives of every person on this planet go because he promised me he'd leave
- let Freeza live because he begged me to save his life, he won't seek revenge
- give Cell a senzu bean because my son is monstrously strong and will still crush him like a pebble
- let my youngest son and my dead friend's youngest son fight Buu even though I am perfectly capable
- throw an earring from several stories altitude instead of instantly handing it to my son
So really, is Goku recruiting Freeza (who is dead, and under threat of oblivion by either Beerus or Zeno) really all that jarring?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!"HA! In your face, Kakarot! My child became a Super Saiyan before she even learned to walk!"
