There's only 4 hours left. I'm assuming there's simply not enough time. Freeza is still the strongest character so it's not too out there to recruit him.
I still maintain this is a Godzilla Threshold but Super loves flying right into the face of consistency, so Goku is just going to act like everything about Freeza is just water under the bridge.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's not smart, but it's admirable at least. Saiyans embody Honor Before Reason after all.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'd actually argue that Vegeta's Face Turn was just as organic since it was a slowburn through the entirety of Z.
Gohan turning down God powers would be admirable but when the prospect of oblivion is staring at you right in your face it is rather idiotic.
This is one of those situations where you take every advantage you get, fuck honor as survival & necessity takes precedent now.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Vegeta and Piccolo's change are different. They didn't really have much of a choice and just kind succumbed to being good guys.
Freeza is such a petty character that he's too self absorbed to consider self preservation. Now maybe his second death made him think about things, but I doubt it.
But that's not what this series is about. Usually bad decisions work out because it's simply that idealistic. A lot of decisions the cast make are bad end up being beneficial no matter how bad they are on paper cuz it's always been that way.

I think no one explained the tournament format to Vegeta yet.
