They could just give him Blue/Golden/both and remove the spots in that form. Obviously, they'd have to draw the spots when he's not in that form, but it would cut down on the budget in the fight scenes, where they usually pour most of it anyways.
I'm imagining Golden Blue Cell to look like what you would expect Golden Cell to, except the top of his head has morphed and spiked up and it glows blue. His aura would also be in layers, like Kaio-Ken Blue, except with the yellow-blue aura of Blue on the inside, and the golden-red aura of Golden on the outside.

Of course not.
Buu will fall asleep because Lol! Look at how lazy and sleepy he is!
Cell won't come because EVERYBODY LOVES FRIEZA!
...So yeah. I'm a little bitter. Bear with me. I'll get over it eventually.
One Strip! One Strip!Eh. At least I'm aware of it. Some guys wouldn't even realize they are doing something wrong.
At times like this, I find the best way to help things is to change the subject.
I'm still hoping for a wide variety of good techniques during this fight myself. With so many strange opponents, I'd be shocked if there wasn't.
...Also, despite my hating the thing with Frieza, I'm kinda wondering just how his sudden but inevitable betrayal will go. Will he have the common sense to wait until the opportune moment, or will he jump the gun and do it right away?
I'd expect the latter myself. He's not particularly patient.
One Strip! One Strip!Frieza will be stupid enough to attack the Zen'O-tachi. This will anger them so much they wipe Frieza from history. Since Frieza never existed, Universe 7's mortal level is now high enough that they don't need to compete in the ToP.
This may sound like an awful idea - because it is - but it's not the worst idea the series had.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I hope not.
I truly do believe (as much as I criticize his stupidity) that the best thing about Frieza is his utter refusal to change.
He's the only one who's just evil because he can be evil even though he has the choice not to be. That's his best trait.
Edit: Random thought: When Trunks' uses the Time Machine to travel back in time, what is it that actually splits the timelines: his mere presence in the past, or the things he does while there?
Cause in the anime, he went back and forth to the future a good 2-3 times, so if it's the former, he should have created more than just five timelines (or however many he made. I admit I've lost count).
Edit the second: And a new thought: if they really go through with Goku insisting that Frieza join the team, then he's gonna have to explain to the characters who don't know about the universal destruction just why they should be so desperate as to include someone that untrustworthy on a team for what's just supposed to be a battle for money.
I mean, we knew they wouldn't keep the secret about the losing universes being destroyed a secret forever, but still. There's no way he'll be able to justify keeping it a secret if he goes to such extremes.

I believe that would be the same lead-up, but the result would be different: Frieza is destroyed by the Grand Priest, but one of the Zen'O is far too traumatized by Frieza attacking them to continue the tournament, and the remaining one declares the tournament to be canceled until further notice. While the Universes are safe for now and the Grand Priest declares the date of the reschedule, Goku is having none of it and practically begs Zen'O to continue it, even asking to just have it for fun without the losing universes being erased. Goku only backs down when Zen'O, declares on no uncertain terms, to his face, to shut up or destroyed right there. When everyone gets back home, Goku leaves the planet momentarily.......and has a total raging meltdown, angry to a level unseen since Frieza killed Krillan, cursing the tyrant's name, and unknowingly reaching a new level of power that would match Beerus. At 50%,
Frieza has never met Zen-O before, and never heard of him before then.
Plus, he still tried to blow up the earth (and actually succeeds) in the Resurrection F arc despite Beerus being right there. I don't trust Frieza when it comes to common sense.
One Strip! One Strip! Not to mention his punishment in Hell is probably the worst thing to happen to him ever, and he'd be glad to be Stupid Evil even if it means he no longer has to suffer through it via destruction of his Universe.

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!That's not true in the slightest. Sociopaths are very much capable of holding no further regard for their own existence if it isn't gratifying anymore.
That being said, Frieza as an individual doesn't seem like the type to seek death. He's too arrogant and optimistic to believe he won't one day escape and have his revenge, or somesuch.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! You know.......I thought of something........
There was this story from the comic adaptation of Samurai Jack where Jack meets this beautiful geisha girl who travels with him for a few months, bonding with and helping him out, eventually falling in love with her. When he finally tells her his feelings........the geisha reveals herself to be Aku, taking the form of a beautiful woman again. This time, however, was purely for funsies, just to mess with Jack.
Frieza might pull something similar. He would pretend to turn over a new leaf, gaining the trust of everyone around him where even Vegeta trusts him.......and then attempt to do something so heinous it goes above and beyond Moral Event Horizon just to get some payback against Goku and Vegeta. Probably trying to murder Pan and Bra while they are asleep only to have his ass kicked when the girls go Super Saiyan and double team him.

Well, that comic is getting crazy huh?
I'm trying to remember: how strong was Krillin at the end of Namek (since his power was slowly coming out rather than all at once).
Yamcha spent a year training with Nail after getting his Potential unlocked, but he's only 10,000, which still makes him weaker than the Ginyu Force, even though Krillin eventually became stronger than all of them barring Ginyu himself.
More to the point, since everyone is ok, including Piccolo and Goku, they can head to Namek as a group and fight Frieza's minions...and even save the namekians earlier.
I can only imagine where the revelation of a second reincarnated character will go.
Also, I gotta laugh at Toriyama being so happy he can just sit back and let others do the work now.

The spots make his design pop.
