As power goes, Goten and Trunks are nuts. They got their first Super Saiyan transformation incredibly easy compared to the other Saiyans in the cast, had the Fusion Dance brought in the story to give them an easy option for catching up to all the other characters who had decades of training on them, and then mastered Super Saiyan 3 after seeing Goku do it once. In ten years time, they'll probably be more powerful than Bills, and have discovered/invented several more levels of Super Saiyan.

That makes sense. Still sorta silly that they'd be Full Power Saiyans by age 5. Not in a "logically unsound" sense, but in a "stretching plausibility a bit too far" sense.
Anyway, something's been bugging me for a while about movie 12. Gogeta is formed, and kicks Janemba's ass in less than a minute. So... what does Gogeta do for the remaining 29 minutes of the fusion? Sit around and read a newspaper?

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Well, given that Super Saiyan Full Power is basically "stay in Super Saiyan a lot" and Goten/Trunks have had the form for a long time (or Goten has a really short term memory) and often fight each other, I don't find it to be a stretch. It's pretty hilarious when you think about how Super Saiyan Full Power is something that can be achieved unknowingly.
That's a pretty good question. Gogeta must have been bored as hell.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. While the kids being stronger than Piccolo is somewhat arguable (he did at least surpass Grade II Vegeta, after all), them being stronger than 18 is stated and shown fact in the manga.
Note that Janemba was only slightly to moderately stronger than Goku. Goku gave him some trouble. So Super Buu would probably dispatch him with no less ease than Super Gogeta.

It isn't said either way who is stronger. What influences Boo's absorption isn't said either. Here
I went into the points for and against the kids being stronger than Piccolo, and why the Boo scene doesn't necessarily mean Piccolo is stronger than the kids.
I originally had a problem with Goten and Trunks being so strong, but then I remembered that ridiculously OP kids and Superpowerful Genetics have been prominent since the very first chapter of Dragon Ball, and continued all throughout the series. Even the villains did this, with Piccolo, Vegeta, and Freeza all surpassing their ultra-powerful fathers with little apparent effort. We know that Vegeta, at least, did it before he was 12, while Piccolo did it when he was four and physically teenage.

Rule of Cool? Just plain not seeing him there anymore wouldn't have been as dramatic.

That is new. It had been a prevailing fan theory up until now that Gotenks didn't even have SS-2, as he never used it against Buu and Trunks' dialogue implied they only reached SS-3 while skipping SS-2 entirely.
