Also, regarding the episode: I choose to believe that Roshi actually did sense her wickedness and he was going to do something to purify the dark magic from her body, it's just that it came off as very rapey because Roshi is incapable of approaching an attractive woman any other way, and he was just getting very excited at the prospect of physical contact with a woman in any way.

That would be Veggie's thing...
Ten's thing is to try to stay relevant...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I guess today's episode kinda confirmed that one interview a few years back where Toriyama talked about Roshi's power-level.
Which means that Tien is the weakest link of Team Universe 7. What a surprising outcome, but at least we got to see the Four Witches after so many years! Also, I wonder what Kale's dynamic is in Cauli's gang.
What's interesting is that that the mild spoilers of next week's episode say that at least the first half of the episode will be dedicated to a Gohan and Piccolo vs Goku and Tenshinhan double battle, and there was emphasis placed that Tenshinhan shouldn't be written off because he's got a bunch of tricky techniques that could turn the tide of battle.
...i was gonna comment about how stupid that is
But fuck it
Super is Stupid.
It's so goddamn stupid.
My various fanfics. But comparing Tenshinhan to any of those three should be like comparing a candle to the fucking Sun.
Of course, that's only if Super was following any sort of consistency or logic or had any fucks to give. It clearly does not.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm sorry, he's not the one burping out ghosts.
Fuck all of this, why isn't Gotenks in the To P?
WHY DOESN'T GOTEN EXIST?!
My various fanfics.![]()

His stuff is pretty mundane compared to Gotenks.
And it never really escalated after the Tri-beam.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Buff Roshi was doing better against base Goku than Krillin did, and buff Roshi took out Tenshinhan with his electric attack (I'm not saying any of the English names, since they're all dumb, and the Japanese name is impossible to remember). It seems that the strength of the three Human fighters goes like this:
Roshi < Tenshinhan < Krillin < buff Roshi < base Goku/Vegeta/Gohan.
Keep in mind that those 'greater than' symbols are indicative of a very small difference in power level.
Lightning Surprise Attack...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well you were referring to the people who were complaining about how strong the humans are. Which is more likely to be the people who didn't care, or didn't like them, rather than those who did care.
While I'm not one of the people asking, I have thought about this before because of how often it comes up. I don't think you need to make them stronger. I think even if you were going to make them relevant, it wouldn't be in every arc, especially when Super has so much slice-of-life. Really, the slice-of-life makes it piss easy to write stories that could focus entirely on them without requiring any sort of power scaling.
In actual arcs where they are being relevant, stuff like having too much going on for the main heroes to deal with everything at once would be enough. You've got a whole planet to work with, sometimes multiple, spread out the objectives for something and split people up to deal with appropriate challenges. Or have them provide something else than raw combat abilities, like Bulma. It is harder to do with most of the human fighters because they're so focused on fighting, but the slice of life episodes give plenty of time to set up some other role for them.
My idea for the current arc's tournament to use everyone in a meaningful way was to make team-based elimination matches, with the caveat that an individual fighter can only fight in one match. So it's not Goku/Vegeta handling every fight, they only get one fight each and they need as many capable fighters as they can get to add to their chances in the other battles. But the humans all in a team together, and they need to win (or, instead of straight elimination, it's a series of team battles and you need more wins than losses to advance).

It has really delayed profit though, so it's not that good.
