There's another source code leak. This time of a U4 fighter named Damon. He's a cicada-like insect fighter, who specializes in dodging attacks and leaving behind his shed skin as a kind of decoy while he attacks from the sky or from underground. The wording's a bit odd, but I think he can also self-destruct those shed husks.

That he utterly wrecked Goku and Piccolo, the two strongest warriors on Earth at the time...with ease.
And they only won because Goku's four year old son literally Deus ex Machina'ed a higher power level at the eleventh hour?
Cause that's exactly what happened.
One Strip! One Strip!I know that Goku was able to train it... that doesn't matter. Toriyama's quote specifically said that the Saiyan body decided tails were an unnecessary trait.
The weakness may be something that Saiyans can train to over come, but it's still unnecessary when you get so strong. So they're not going to specifically regenerate what they don't need.
@Damon: That's certainly a more interesting version of the Afterimage ability.
@Raditz: I don't quite get all this talk of Raditz being pathetic. When he showed up, he was so strong the main hero had to commit assisted suicide to bring him down. It's like saying Frieza was a nobody because he wasn't as powerful as Majin Buu.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.It occurs to me that, if Damon is the insectoid figure in the upper left corner of the first shot of fighters in the opening, we know the names and/or home universes of almost all of the revealed fighters from the other universes. The ones we still don't know anything about are all from the first shot, since the second shot is just the Pride Troopers and Kale: the fat tutu-wearing clown lady who fights Vegeta in the opening, the smug looking grey fox guy who's in the lower right corner of that shot, and the female fighter in-between Magetta and Basil wearing a visor.

Being recolors is overly complicated...
Well the whole Super Saiyan blonde hair was the fault of Toriyama being lazy and not wanting to ink in hair. Laziness does lead to creativity.
The original plan was what we see in Lord Slug and seems damn close to the whole 'Saiyan beyond God' form hinted in the new OP.

All SSJ forms are pretty negative...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

Oh right. I misread your thing. Apologies.
Anyway, the tail should have stayed. Toriyama should have sucked it up.
