Personally, I'd have liked to have seen Goku learn how to achieve Super Saiyan God under his own power, with him doubling, if not phasing out, the form's time limit. Meanwhile, Vegeta would have gone to Whis for training in order to gain full access to the power he used against Beerus, much in the same way in does in Super. He would eventually have adapted to the God Ki around him, in much the same way Goku did with God's power, and would end up combining it with the power he used against Beerus (once he has mastered it) in order to create his own form to rival Goku's Super Saiyan God form: Super Saiyan Blue.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Zamasu was Super Saiyan White? Hmm...was he or was it just Super Saiyan Rose with white hair dye? Also, if he wasn't in a powered up state would his hair be black like Goku? The Dragonball Fusions character of Gomas suggested that Merged Zamasu in his base would have black hair, as that fusion is Goku and Zamasu and thus genetically identical to Goku Black and Future Zamasu' fusion.
Pretty sure Black was in Rose form when he merged, and we know that transformations are preserved across fusions. That's why Elder Kai told Goku it would be a bad idea to go Super Saiyan before fusing with Vegeta, since they can't remain like that forever and the strain would probably kill them (of course, that was before the 30 minute time limit for mortals was introduced, but still).
So Merged Zamasu was in a kind of permanent Super Saiyan state.
Merged Zamasu and Xicor being half-Kai is more coincidence than anything, though there are other parallels. And hey, we got Goku Black out of it
I just realized how stupidly easy it would be for Ginyu to hijack Freeza. Here's how to pull it off
- Step 1: Body swap with Guldo in discretion. Guldo will appreciate the power boost and the two would pull off a good impression of each others, unless Voices Are Mental apply to the manga as well
- Step 2: Wait until Freeza arrives and freeze time. Make sure Step 1 was discrete because otherwise Freeza might think something's up
- Step 3: Change places in the time freeze. Then death beam Freeza while he's in Guldo's body
- Step 4: Train until you can deal with King Cold
- Step 5: Congratulations, you are the new Emperor of the Universe
Freeza is very fortunate Ginyu has Undying Loyalty to him
Step 4 is unnecessary. Freeza is significantly stronger than King Cold, and all of Freeza's power is 100% innate to him - Ginyu would likely have access to all of it and would probably be able to use it better than Freeza ever could.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariSo nearly all of the major enemies throughout the series were some kind of mutant.
Vegeta and Goku could arguably be mutants/outliers in the Saiyan species who were able to obtain astronomical levels of strength.
Frieza, of course, is a mutant with an astronomical, innate power level.
Cell technically evolved exactly the way he was supposed to - but then he mutated into his Super Perfect Form.
Buu mutated into Fat Buu and Super Buu.
King Piccolo was a piece of the Nameless Namek who exhibited far more strength than any other Namek in the series, same deal as Goku and Vegeta.
Tien.
Pilaf.
Baby was a Machine Mutant.
I guess Super 17 and Omega weren't mutants, depending on how you want to look at it.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!The fact that the Nameless Namekian was super strong doesn't change the fact that King Piccolo was hilariously, laughably weak compared to non-Warrior Caste Namekians.
Also, past a certain point, the sheer difference in powerlevel would render King Piccolo too slow and weak to touch Dende, let alone hurt him.
After getting his power unlocked, anyway. I don't know if there was anything he could've done against King Piccolo before that.

Power Creep is obviously a thing, but I see no reason to think it would matter in that situation when Dende has never been shown, or even implied, to be stronger than an ordinary person.
