Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It's boring, dull, bloated, the whole "tearing apart the fabric of the universe" bullshit is stupid and makes no sense, and literally the only thing that the show did better than the movie was the Super Saiyan God ritual because it was majestic and actually felt like the arrival of a god.
Also, why and how did Supreme Kai unfuse with Kibito later on?

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?In the manga, the two Kaioshin overhear Champa and Vados talking about the Super Dragon Balls and assume they're talking about the Namekian ones instead. So Kibitoshin collects all the balls, only to find that they weren't what Champa was after. He decides that since he went to the effort of gathering them, he may as well use them to unfuse.
In the anime, they just show up unfused in the Universe 6 saga and Shin explains that he used the Dragon Balls to do so. Which makes no sense, because the Namekian Dragon Balls were already used by Goku at the end of the RF arc when Kibitoshin was still fused.

OK, that makes more sense, but I'm confused as to why they'd want to unfuse. I don't recall Supreme Kai mentioning anything about hating being fused (unless I've forgotten something).
Also, speaking of him, watching how the Buu Saga tries to play him up as a potential villain just feels really weird (and kind of hilarious) in hindsight.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Well, I guess they never wanted to be fused in the first place.
I wish they would have just stayed fused though. Kibito is really unnecessary as a character, it's better to just have his abilities added to Kaioshin's personality. Then you wouldn't have to retcon Kaioshin as the one possessing Kai Kai instead of Kibito (as it was originally).
That's not very fair. We don't even know where this idea came from, and the manga was usually better than this about continuity.
The only real contradiction lies in the anime version of it anyway.

I do feel bad for Vegeta, since he wanted to give Bra a Saiyan name.
