Go watch the Father of Goku Abridged special, that's where it originated.
Incidentally, Lani and Grant playing Automata has to be the absolute worst playthrough they've ever done, and that's saying something. (They still aren't anywhere near close to hitting Game Grumps levels of incompetence though)

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariIt should be noted that what Vegeta is doing, is literally the same thing he did in his second battle against Xicor in Toyotaro's AF doujinshi. Vegeta had trained himself to switch between the three different types of Super Saiyan branches (power-weighted, natural, and hybrid) in a near-instant by the time Xicor broke himself free of the Z Sword, and was able to not only use their individual strengths to compensate for their weaknesses, but was also able to enter a Max Power state for USSJ, SSJ3, and SSJ4, allowing him even greater usage of their abilities.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!It could be that I misremember.
But I distinctly recall a soldier rushing in, saying that Bardock had gone insane and was talking about how Freeza was going to destroy Vegeta, at which point the King asks "My son the planet or me?" and the guy gives the Mathematician's Answer and gets killed and called a freaking smartass for it.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariIt wasn't in the Bardock special, it was in a regular abridged episode...flashback style.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Toyotaro used the Future Trunks saga to remade his AF fanfiction. Meh, i'm mostly dissapointed he, while explaining better than the anime staff, doesn't have the same kind of dramatic tension. Also, Trunks is heavily underdeveloped, and Zamasu just decided "Hey, that guy I watched on Youtube is strong, maybe I should use his body", which is painfully stupid. The anime made a better build up with him meeting Goku personally.
I'm still waiting for the manga saga to be over so I could write a review, but let's say: the anime is winning a 3 out of 5 (Villain development, hero (and Vegeta) development, and Future humanity involvement) compared with the manga (Better explained plot, prettier artwork).
Also, Zamasu is funnier in the anime.(And I couldn't find the hug only, so sorry for spanish subtitles)

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. There are three major players in the Universal Survival Arc; the main timeline Zen'o, the future timeline Zen'o and the Grand Priest. Which do you think is going to be the ultimate Arc Villain of this tournament? I think that the Grand Priest will sacrifice himself to stop one or both Zen'o for the greater good
If the answer isn't Goku then the question is wrong.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!It probably the most painfully stupid form of Dramatic Irony in anime right now. Everyone knows Goku's not the villain of the arc, yet he's set up as this in universe and is actively perpetuating the idea. Cue countless number of sore faces from the sheer amount of Face Palms it induces.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!Thing is, we know for a fact that Goku's actions resulted in at least one universe's survival, while if he'd done nothing every universe, including his own, would be fucking gone, except for the few that the bratking likes.
In other terms... Goku saved at least one universe, and if he had thrown the fight that had the 'no universe dies speculation', which the angels would've noticed, everyone dies anyway. That was a no win scenario for him.
What's annoying is not that the people in universe think that he might be the bad guy, because it's mostly not even a factor until the actual fight itself, and even then, opportunism and desperation will see any sort of 'let's beat up the jackass' alliance crumble. What's annoying is that people all over the real world are right now screaming and screaming about how Goku is the villain of this arc, when we know that it's not the case.
