Wait, who is Bergamo, Basil and Lavenda again'
I can't read japanese, so I don't know which is which.
Also, Bergamo is going to get his name changed. Berga = Verga = Vulgar word for penis. Or shit, if you know your vulgarities.
Don't you mean... potential Godmine?
...
Ah? =D

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.![]()

Yes they did, mercifully.
The dub has been great so far and I'm looking forward to seeing if and how they have fun with Zamasu (because let's face it, there's a potential goldmine there).

This song needs more love.Erm, it may change in those languages; even the trademarked names change in different places (for example, Freezer IS Freeza's name in plenty of European dubs, and that's the name used in the videogames).
So yeah, it may change.
Also Super didn't get abridged because it is recent as fuck. And remember, we are still in the middle of Cell, and it's been over a year since Cell became perfect, but the Cell games haven't started yet. Take it easy.
I don't know. Latin American Naruto went with 'Hokage' despite the way they pronnounce the 'kage' makes it sound like 'cague' (a verbal form of 'shit'). And in Ladybug, a show aired by Disney, they actually changed the 'Miraculous' in the title from the original 'Prodigiosa' translation back to 'Miraculous', restoring the English word. Despite how in Spanish 'Miraculous' sounds *this close* to 'Mira culos' (literally 'ass looker' or 'looking at asses').

Humor me for a theory:
In all twelve universes, there are only two constants: The Saiyan race, and the planet Earth. In terms of the Saiyans, their society and/or even how they look evolved is different for every one with only a single major commonality between paired Universes. For example, both Universe 6 & 7 the Saiyans are proud warrior races, but while 7 were evil planet jacking pirates, 6 were heroic mercenaries who fought to protect the innocent and defeat evil. Another example could Universe 1 having Saiyans who were technologically advanced peace loving folks who relied heavily on robot workers while 12 had Saiyans who were so extremely war-like it hindered their ability to progress past extremely primitive tribal units, and even then in-fighting was shockingly common. Only commonality between the two is the practice of cutting off their tails, thus preventing individuals from accessing their Great Ape forms.
For Earth, only the actual planet is the constant, not the inhabitants or even their histories. On both Universe 6 and 7, humans were the dominant race on the planet and possibly evolved and progressed at the same rate more or less. However, Universe 7 had Demon King Piccolo trying to conquer the planet, nearly causing society to be nearly destroyed and become stagnant technologically around 80's level advancement for several centuries, leading to all known Cities to band together to form a single nation with some smaller outlier nations and towns, explaining the vast swathes of wilderness and wasteland in between Cities throughout the series. On the other hand, without such an event that rocked 7, the Earth in Universe 6 continued to progress unhindered for a couple more centuries until a war between various countries presumably erupted that lead the planet to become completely destroyed to the point where Earth is effectively dead. The commonality here is that both Earth suffered a major event that caused the destruction of human civilization. While Universe 7 managed to bounce back, Universe 6 did not and could not until Beerus wished it back.
The wolf people from Universe 9, I believe, come from a version of Earth where canines evolved into a sapient bipedal race instead of primates, thus we may or not see something similar from Universe 4.

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!So, while not the first time we've had animal fighters, this will be the first time they've been somewhat important I suppose.
I'm hoping these three give us a good show.
One Strip! One Strip!Animal...they won't be anymore important to the plot than the animal peeps from first 3 tournaments.
Story facts. If they are important enough to do more than fighting, that'll be " stuff"
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. There would just need to be an equivalent...in every universe, but they're actually used in theirs for the survival game.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I know I just said this in the last page, but Basil is the red one, Lavenda is the hick and Bergamo is the one Goku beat up in the OP.
Also, the team is called Trio the Dangers, a shout-out to the game Trio the Punch.

How do you do people, I see apparently the opponents are a bunch of ferries from universe 9. I hope this isn't as dark as it sounds. I get Zeno did Destory a multiverse but seriously I hope there is actually more to the tournament then that.
Oh, wow the English dub is actually good. I still hate Monica Rial's voice of bulma.
I mean, Freeza doesn't wear pants and neither does Cell.
I'm just not getting the fascination with Team Jacob here. Apart from reminding me that Yamcha isn't getting in on this, they'll probably get wrecked since we only saw Goku fight them in base.
Now, Team Insane Clowne Posse has my attention, I want to know more about those guys. Their universe's god of destruction is a literal f'cking clown.

King Kai's Japanese voice (as well as the Narrator from the beggining of Dragon Ball) until halfway through the first arc of Super is 85, and was quite worn out and had trouble doing effective VA work, and IIRC now we have the guy who does Oolong doing those roles, but they take heavily from the most recent work, and thus remain quite weak.
Great work on self-awareness from the English dub tho, they've come a long way since chain-smoker Freeza and Gohan, and next dimensions.
