Man I really hope that alien guy in the Sith-color scheme is as cool as the opening is showing him to be cause he looks to be a complete badass in it. Completely taking on Goku in equal-footing must be evidence that your an epic dude. One hell of a way to make an entrance & not even an actual appearance yet.

I mean as long as the OP ain't falsifying anything or whatever.

[up][up][up]You act like Goku couldn't already do most of those physical feats in base instead. Once you get to a high enough power level, feats are basically meaningless shows of power that the characters could already do without transforming. What's the visible, tangible difference, between someone strong enough to destroy two galaxies, and someone strong enough to destroy eight galaxies? Is there even a difference? You'd think that the person strong enough to destroy two galaxies could just expand their power far enough to destroy eight galaxies, since they can already destroy two, and galaxies aren't known for having varying levels of durability.

At this level, feats and showings of power are meaningless filler, that exists solely to look pretty.

When Goku was driving, I noticed that the steering wheel was on the left side of the truck. Is that normal in Dragon Ball?

Also, this might be too late to mention, but I've decided to call female Broly "Brella", after "umbrella". It's not a vegetable, but "brolly" is a British term for an umbrella.

Vegeta has really come far hasn't he? Being on earth humanized him more than it did to Goku.

I don't the brain damage even really counts anymore because Goku is acting more like a stereotypical sayian than Vegeta is. :p

That opening is awesome.

Gee, I wonder who Goku's biggest opponent will be? tongue

The Zen'ous playing with worlds was suitably epic.

Vegeta became such a square, no wonder Goku is looking towards other universes for new rivals.

Hell yeah, the Multiverse Tournament arc is finally here. evil grin

Beerus threatening to destroy Goku for being too flippant about Zen-oh was legitimately more tense than 99% of Zamasu's arc. Too bad they bounced back so quickly.

So

wait...

Karrot just takes a scratch from a bullet from being rusty...

But Krill-fish takes a legit injury?

Does that make sense?

I don't know who this "Karrot" is, but Goku > Krillin.

Anyway, to everyone saying "OH GOKU IS ALWAYS LIKE THIS LOLOLOL" is kind of ignoring the context of every situation and the circumstances surrounding them.

Whenever Goku makes bad decisions prior, it's usually not done with an explicit warning prior said decision that he blatantly ignores. The closest I can think of is giving Cell a senzu against Gohan and he at least realized he might've screwed up fairly quickly.

Here, he is told "Don't fuck with the unpredictable child who can destroy everything" and then does the opposite. That's pretty wildly different.

So a while back, wasn't there an episode description leaked about Bra finally being born?

I don't think Goku even got a scratch when he got shot in the first episode, so no, not really.

There was a scratch in the scene of them getting shot by Lunch...

Though those were less scratches and more the bullets stuck in their bodies.

In fairness to Goku, Vegeta threatened Shin first, and unlike Goku, Vegeta would probably actually do it.

Threatening Shin to get him out of harm's way, and get him and Gohan moving to stop Buu instead of standing there and arguing is maybe slightly more justifiable than this.

Vegeta wasn't going to let Goku go anyway, so fighting him and keeping him out of the way was probably a better option.

I think there was still some selfishness in it, but there was at least a bit of logic.

With the reveal about how draining Super Saiyan 3 is, he even has a (retcon induced) reason for not using it during the fight.

In fact, you could argue that Goku stayed in order to convince Vegeta that this was stupid and they needed to take care of Buu first. He spent quite a few moments of the fight doing just that (at least after Buu was revived).
