Yeah, Masako X mentioned that in one of his Dragon Ball Super reviews. That's actually a good piece of obscure continuity.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Still wrong Unnoun. While watching Goku fight Freezer, Tien tells Kaiosama not to worry because Goku has yet to use the maximum kaioken, times 20.
Kaiosama says it's still hopeless because it won't be enough...and he's proven correct when Goku tries it. That was basically a heavy handed way of saying it stops at X20 so Goku can't just keep pumping in bigger numbers to beat any enemy like the X100 in the Slug movie.
Buldogue's lawyerThat's now how it happened. Tien says they shouldn't worry because Goku hasn't used the Kaioken yet, but King Kai corrects him by telling him that Goku had been consistently using the Kaioken X 10 for awhile and it still wasn't having any effect.
Goku later comes to the conclusion that Kaioken X 20 is his only hope, which seems to pay off momentarily, only for it to be dashed when Frieza ups his power output to 50%, staving off Goku's full power Kamehameha with one hand (albeit feeling pain while doing so).
Actually, Freeza was already at 50% when Goku decided to use x20 because if he couldn't beat him with that when Freeza was only at half of his power, then he basically wouldn't stand a chance. It was a desperation move for the most part. Goku only barely managed to close the gap and momentarily made Freeza sweat but it only succeeded on exhausting Goku, forcing him to use the Spirit Bomb.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Geez, what happened to Goten's voice in Dub land?
It's so loud...and not as good.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. What does that have to do with Goten?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I know it's the same actress...but still, what even happened?
The performance in that first episode was just awkward.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. That's pretty bad voice direction then, his voice isn't any deeper...just louder.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. So, I've actually got my copy of the manga in front of me?
It's the Dragon Ball Full Color release. Off of Comixology. Kinda neat.
Anyway.
Kaiou: "...Sorry, but Goku is already using the tenfold Kaio-Ken."
Pouring through every single page, nothing says times twenty is the highest Kaio-Ken ever possible. Just the highest Goku's body could take at his level of training and refinement of the technique at that point.
Kaio-Ken's drawback is that it might literally kill or cripple you. A Kaio-Ken times fifty would be a lot more stress on the body than Super Saiyan is.
Also: Spell my name right damn it. I don't know anyone named Unnoun, and there's certainly nobody called that here.

Guess he's not a dog.
Also, was 17 always taller then 18? I thought they were the same height?
One Strip! One Strip!Makes sense. Dragon Quest has more Toriyama influence in it than Dragon Ball Super does.

He didn't really hold it enough against Beerus to show either way.
