That... reminds me. Maybe it came up and I skipped the page but:
Everyone playing/played/is playing Xenoverse now - what is your main character like? What's their race, what's their signature ability? And most importantly - whose power level is higher, your XV 1 or XV 2 hero?

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Mine's a Freeza race with Final Cooler's head minus the face mask. Also wears actual pants, unlike most Freeza-people. And I stuck King Kai's insect wings (which the game insists that he "actually has") on him because why the hell not?
Signature move is the Death Beam because it's appropriate and also it's actually a really useful attack in-game. Very Blast-focused (goes well with the Golden Form's upgrades).
Never played the first game, so I'm just going to say he's more powerful than Generic Hero #2.
I want to Platinum the game, but starting a new character for each race and replaying the story from the start each time sounds exhausting just to get all the Transformations.

Can't remember the character I played in the first game, but I do remember the second.
Female human, likes to pretend that she is a responsible and productive member of society without odd quirks, instantly flies off the handle and becomes uncontrollable in fights, which she mostly spends blasting her enemies with the biggest ball of Ki she can possibly use. Can't aim for shit though, so even spamming Supernova she can't hit anything with it, ever, and in-headcanon is responsible for the extinction of thousands of sentient species when her poorly aimed Supernovas went off into space and destroyed the planets they collided with. I can't exactly recall her Super Attack load out, but I know it had Super Guard and Maximum Charge because that's the character I did the Expert Missions with (until I discovered Supervillain Cooler turns Extreme Malice into a complete joke).
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariMy main time patrolwoman was/is a laconic if easily agitated, short rush and strike focused female majin, though her signature ability was some kind of mouth blast(I don't own xenoverse, so the name escapes me, but the gimmick I was going for is that she doesn't talk, she back fists, so when she does open her mouth it's usually to attack). Haven't played the second game yet, so non applicable... though if I do play the second game I'm pretty sure I won't do another majin. Never liked the "pure majin" transformation very much(why not SUPER Majin? Because they wanted majins to go small while Nameks went big? Why do Nameks go big? The manga specifically stated Piccolo's power level did not increase when he did so, that was not akin to super saiyan. Why do Nameks and Majins have combat transformations anyway, that's a saiyan trait. Why not give them super saiyan the same way "humans" wish for it..., I liked Dragon Ball Online, for the most part, but not the way it did transformations) I guess my next one will be a saiyan with an afro. I'd like to see what that looks like at SS3. If Beerus's soccer kick is in the game that will be his/her signature ability.
Buldogue's lawyerI was looking forward to the Multiverse Tournament, but, honestly, after hearing the name "Space Survival Arc" and seeing Z-Fighters from each era lined up together, I'm kind of bummed this isn't going to be some "the heroes get stuck in some hostile region of space/alternate universe and end up Far Scape'ing their way back home" storyline. We haven't really seen them deal with basic survival since early Z when Piccolo threw Gohan into the woods and told him to survive for a month. But space isn't something they can survive in, and would still pose a threat to the strongest members of the cast.
Sure, Goku's Instant Transmission and King Kai's telepathy punches a hole in this plot, but Super could easily Hand Wave this with something like "Goku and co are trapped in some kind of pocket dimension by Whis/Champa and are cut off from King Kai's help" or "they're so far away from the Earth Goku can't use IT to get them home." Or just have King Kai not know where they are, or think that they were all killed.
Maybe Pilaf's gang actually did something and used the Dragonballs to wish Goku and co. far, far away. There could be even be some emotional factor with Vegeta and Goku being the strongest ones around and the former not really caring about anyone else's survival. You could have them land on some planet Vegeta recognizes from his space pirate days. Do a thing like GT where the group meets aliens with weird powers. Have Goku revisit Planet Yardrat or something. A lack of edible food could end up hampering Goku the same way it did back in early Dragonball.
Instead, we're just getting a tournament which is the same thing Dragonball has been doing since Day 1. Sure it's a really big tournament, but it's still a tournament. Android 17 and Roshi will probably be ineffectual. Jury's out on Gohan.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!And on a different note, Masako X
advertised a website apparently selling Dragonballs for (basically) half-off, 12.99. I ordered the 4-star ball because I always wanted one.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I've always loved how Dragon Ball handled the Tournament Arc, especially how it almost always subverts Not Just a Tournament. You are allowed to have victory be its own stake.
But, on the plus side, at least his characterization matches popular fan perception of him now.

It's not really in line with either. The anime misrepresenting his manga personality, but did so by making him more heroic. It did occasionally exaggerate his dumbness, but nothing like what Super did.
It's funny, in the manga, adult Goku hardly ever shows dumb traits. Most of his "stupid" moments are warped principles or selfishness, and he is well aware of what he is doing.

That'd be way too clever. They'd probably call it something like "Planet Destroyers" and leave it at that.
