Wait Marron is only two years younger than Pan and Bra were during GT?
What the heck man?

This song needs more love.Because girls look older than they should in real life thanks to outfits that they shouldn't be wearing. Bra could just be freakishly tall for her age with an incredibly age inappropriate outfit (because she's Bulma's kid, and given the trend in Dragon Ball of the children doing the things their parents did at a far earlier age, we're lucky Bra wasn't wearing a playboy bunny outfit in GT).
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariIs this the part where I get super excited about these irrelevant or non appearing characters will do something cool in the next arc. Only to be super disappointed when the actual arc comes around as they'll will all step aside so that Goku and Vegeta can shine?
As for the ages of the kid characters, it says a lot that Trunks is the same age as his future counterpart when Future Gohan died and that Goten is older than Gohan during the Cell Games and yes this includes the extra year Gohan picked up in the spirit room.
Probably because it's cheaper for Toei to just use the same models they've always had rather than make newer ones, logic be damned. It would explain why Goku and Vegeta's new outfits from Resurrection F haven't been featured at all outside of the adaptation for that arc and the Universe 6 tournament.
Yay for cutting costs.
Or the alternative; the irrelevant characters are suddenly more competent than they should be with no real explanation to justify their presence and ignoring even more of the series` internal logic.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.If they were 3d Models that'd be an explanation, but this is drawn art, and more importantly, you can tell that it's a bunch of different studios and teams doing Super, so... yeah, they're probably not saving anything by keeping Goten and Trunks young except maybe the fee to get Toriyama to come up with a design for them aged up but not end of z Age.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariSo nobody has aged yet...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Pan is born. It's been at least five years.

This song needs more love.I'm pretty sure that Epilogue is still canon.
As for what the new characters do, I know people hated Trunks being able to keep pace with God Goku and Vegeta (since Super Saiyan 2 shouldn't have been good enough), but I'm hoping they come up with a good way to have the others be useful in this arc.
There's not much point in having so many characters if they are just going to have Goku and Vegeta do everything.
I'm pretty curious as to what they have planned, especially since not only 18, but 17 are joining the party this time. Depending on how things go, this might be the first time we see villains have to deal with two opponents who don't have Ki to sense, and don't get tired.
I'm gonna keep an open mind. There were a lot of mistakes in the Trunks arc (where did those new abilities even come from? You could have easily explained it Toei!), but I'm hoping this will provide some interesting interaction between characters, and let us see some other good fights.
I'm assuming Krillin and 18 will need to find a Babysitter.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm saying hearing these complaints has gotten tiresome because it feels like a broken record. Sometimes I wanna talk about Dragon Ball without someone complaining about that particular subject and this has been going on for years.
People are entitled to their opinions and how they feel about something, but that doesn't mean I like reading the same things over and over and over and over. I know complaining about complaining is just as bad, but I really had to put that out there.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. While I agree with Yakuza that it's gotten annoying at this point, this time Rob was doing more than that.
Oh, and "complaining about complaining is just as bad" has never made sense to me. I don't see the point of taken what bothers someone into consideration if they clearly don't care about what bothers you (within reason, obviously).

Well, my ongoing quest to not be a broken record continues.
Though I suppose they didn't really save the day in this last arc....nor did they do so in the Frieza arc (at least not before Frieza actually did destroy the world).
...And Goku actually lost to Beerus....
....Man. I really let my own biases cloud my judgement.
Anyway, for me, the real issue is what they plan to do with the other characters. As many have pointed out, any opponent that Krillin could beat is someone that Goku will annihilate in seconds. Right now, with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo around, you have more then enough power to handle damn near any enemy in this Space Survival Arc.
So the real issue is what the others will bring to the table. 17 and 18's infinite stamina and lack of Ki to sense; Tien's Tri-Beam (which has been shown to be able to at least slow down characters much stronger then himself), and I guess Krillin has the Kienzan.
What will these guys be able to do during this little adventure, and will the narrative actually make use of it? That's my question.
A lot of people just think they'll be either be beaten down as per usual to show the situation is bad, or they'll make them keep up when they definitely should not. It was barely acceptable with Trunks (or not at all for some) so there's no way there's gonna convince anyone that Krillin can save the day and beat a foe that Goku couldn't.
So they have to really think about what these guys are going to do, and more importantly, what the abilities of their enemies are.
I'm assuming this arc was one of the ones Toriyama gave loose notes on, and he knows the characters best, so I'm hoping he came up with some good stuff.

It depends on the subject that's being contested; if someone has legit grievances with something but you don't care and voice that opinion, the latter is usually in the wrong since they are not contributing a rebuttal beyond being dismissive and are generally told "if you don't care, then don't post and go somewhere else".

To be fair, it's not the first time.
Goku looked physically the same for years until the Piccolo Jr arc.
I guess they're just abusing the same situation to keep them looking young.
