I think I want to create a page for the Doujinshi version of Dragon Ball AF, guys. I'll admit the only reason I want to create it is because the author is now working in the manga adaptation of Super. It could be interesting as a point of comparison between both works.
Also, New Art from Toyotaro of Dragon Ball Super
. Other than the time ring being gone, this is gorgeous.
Also, I'm kinda annoyed how Baby and Uub don't aren't playable in Xenoverse 2 :/

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.If it was large enough, I'd probably use it as my wallpaper.
It's nice to see that Toyotaro is continuing Toriyama's obsession with cars and motorized vehicles in general.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Episode of Bardock is probably the worst. Like, all the different elements in it are pretty cool: Bardock goes back in time, stays on Planet Salad while begrudgingly befriending one of the natives, meets Freeza's ancestor, who injures the native he befriended, Bardock goes Super Saiyan, lethally beats Chilled, who warns of the Super Saiyan, starting the legend. The problem isn't even with the execution, for what it is, it's done pretty competently. The problem lies with the plot, which, while interesting on paper, suffers from just how painfully uninspired, lazy, and pandery it was, and how there were a huge number of plot-holes that were just ignored, not the least of which being the premise itself.
.....Why is East Kaioshin / East Supreme Kai on a motorcycle?
....I mean, it's kinda cool looking, but it's also rather silly.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean, if we're talking about Episode of Bardock, I think it's unclear when it takes place?
It definitely takes place on Planet Vegeta/Plant which isn't where the Saiyans are from. It's where the Tuffles are from. Those native guys are ancient Tuffles.
The Saiyans are from Planet Salad. Episode of Bardock can't be Planet Salad because Bardock says it's Planet Vegeta. He recognizes the skyline and the geography and stuff. And I think it's even what Chilled calls it.
At best Episode of Bardock might explain why Frieza knows about Super Saiyans. Not why Vegeta knows about them. Because the Saiyans weren't there.
So in summary, it's unclear whether Bardock is the "first" Super Saiyan even in the context of Episode of Bardock. Or if he was the Super Saiyan 1000 years ago, or. Like. Which of the ancient Super Saiyans he might have been.

So, TFS actually brought up what I think is an interesting idea: What if Xeno 3 just completely embraced the MMO elements and became a full on MMO. You could fly around the Dragon World and there would be places you could explore where you could fight, like, roaming bandits and there would be events like Broly landing or Harudegren appearing that would be Global Bosses. You could also have stuff like, whenever someone uses the Spirit Bomb, regardless of where you are, you get an option to send them your energy to power it (which would make the Spirit Bomb either incredibly powerful or completely worthless, depending).
They suggested a few other things but that was the gist of it. It actually sounded potentially pretty cool.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Like, seriously. In the manga and anime thing for Episode of Bardock, it's made clear that the planet Bardock arrives on is Planet Plant/Vegeta. That's unquestionable.
It's also not entirely clear what those native guys are. The purple ones. The ones that TFS had sound like Kermit the Frog. TFS made them Saiyans, but. That's not in the source material for Episode of Bardock. I think they're only called "Plantlings" or whatever. After the planet.
Going with what we know about the Saiyans and Planet Plant, it probably wasn't? It was probably the Tuffles. Super makes it clear that the Saiyans were from a completely different planet than Planet Plant. Explicitly clear. And there was stuff even beforehand that mentioned that.
Like, in Episode of Bardock, the Plant natives don't recognize Bardock as a Saiyan, and Chilled has never heard of Saiyans before. That's explicit in all versions of Episode of Bardock except the abridged version.
So Bardock's trip to the past doesn't seem to be any version of the Super Saiyan legend as handed down by the Saiyan people because there's simply no possible way for the Saiyans to have heard about it. Some Saiyan from the future just showed up on a planet with no other Saiyans on it while the actual Saiyans of that time period were still either on their home planet or escaping their home planet because they blew it up.
Like, I don't think Frieza's family would be in the habit of sharing the fact that some Super Saiyan killed their ancestor. So there's no way for the story to get from Chilled to Vegeta.
The Plant Native guys/Ancient Tuffles might have mentioned it when the Saiyans showed up later, I guess, but.
Like.
I think it's weird how people think Episode of Bardock shows that Bardock was the "first" or "most recent" Super Saiyan or the one Vegeta talked about, but. The thing is that's not in the text. Not in the manga or the OVA. It doesn't show anything even remotely like that.
It's possible that's what it was trying to show and was just massively incompetent about it. But. I think what's actually going on with it is a bit. Well. Weirder. And more complicated. And ties in more with Xenoverse/Online/Jaco and Minus than anything else.
Seriously, how the hell does Frieza know about what Super Saiyan God is during Dragon Ball Minus. Just. Where did he hear about that. Episode of Bardock could explain Super Saiyan, but not God.
So it would be the best part of it?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I've heard the opposite, that it just wasn't very good and that's why it burned.
Well, that, and No Export for You. Kind of a bad idea to never make a game about a franchise that's globally popular... and then region lock it. Granted, they region-locked it to the country that plays MMO more than any other, but still a dumb idea to limit your market like that. Then again, travelling the labyrinth of license is a bitch...
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI already did my two cents on XV3.
Dimps owns Heroes, just fuse that with Xenoverse both in story and roster what-ifs and then add an open world with arena fighter mechanics similar to the previous two games.
Also, here's some designs from the upcoming DBS/Dr. Slump crossover:

Episode of Bardock is bullshit. Stupid, asinine and shark jumping bullshit.
But it wouldn't be the first time that stupid, asinine and shark jumping bullshit is retconned into being canon.
