Honestly, I think the Zamasu arc (because, let's face it, that's what it'll be called months from now) would be absolutely perfect for Xenoverse. Ridiculous amounts of time travel, with three different ways to do so, three different Trunks', Beerus and Whis involvement, a villain with a connection to gods intent on killing everyone everywhere, it's practically gift-wrapped for Xenoverse to play around with it.
To be fair while I wasn't rooting for Xenoverse in the story department, how many Parallel Quests could they thesibly come up with that are fresh and interesting? Earlier games have already plugged several what-if's for this franchise which has been out for at least 3 decades.
I'm told the story missions weren't too great either.
But they gave it to the Earthlings whenever they use the Nimbus Cloud and Power Pole

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Not my problem. Maybe they should've waited and created all that new shit instead of rushing a game out.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Wait for those creative juices to flow and if they didn't...nothing would change.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. What they should've done is concentrate on quality over quantity.
Have less parallel quests, but actually make them mini stories instead of just fights with some dialogue thrown in that most of the time you don't get to hear because you kill the enemy too fast.
Also accompanying that, take away the grinding entirely and just have the quest give you the full list of rewards for its completion instead of having random chance.
Because it doesn't matter if you have 99 Parallel Quests when they're void of story anyway - it's just 99 fights.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI have a feeling that if Dragon Ball were a Western series, the creation gods and especially Kami would be much more powerful.
My various fanfics.Eh.
I mean.
The Supreme Kai can spit on their hands, and zippity zappity do a chunk of the hardest metal in the known universe out of thin air. Dragons can do the same, but they're boned if the inanimate object you wish for from halfway across the galaxy turns out to be sentient, and doesn't provide consent for the dragon to move it.
The Supreme Kai also have the ability to "teleport wherever I darn well please." Dragons can teleport people, sure, but they can't teleport mortal enemies into orbit. +1 for the Supreme Kai.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!If the object is inanimate, it can't say no in the first place.
Also, given that the dragons appear to be descended from that big huge fuckoff superdragon, I'm not surprised that the Kaioshin aren't as good at creating things as it is.
Especially because they're overseers more than they are creators.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI mean, I read a theory that the Kaioshins are Creator Gods not because they themselves create life, but because their lifeforce is so great that it seeping into the universe is what allows life to form. Their very existence is what allows life to happen, not them actually creating it; which in and of itself would actually explain the need for a God of Destruction, as they'd make sure that the universe isn't being over-bloated with life because of this.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!That's not a bad idea.
Do you think Toriyama thought that far ahead?
Though it is said that Gods of Destruction and the Kais balance each other.
That being said, I'd like to know why said Gods of destruction are so much more powerful then their counterparts.
One Strip! One Strip! You know something that's been bothering me?
It's total bullshit that the grand majority of my Expert Mission losses come because the enemy teleports right behind me as I'm hitting them with an ultimate and uses a super wide area attack that kills off the entirety of my team, because while the AI for the enemies has been improved vastly from Xenoverse 1, the friendly AI in this game is basically just a few steps above reaching Battle of Z levels of stupidity.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariStupid or not, never underestimate the ability of A.I. to spite you IANCE.
It lays awake at night searching for ways to screw you over.
One Strip! One Strip!Fun fact: AI teammates not helping you when you're getting your ass handed to you isn't a bug. It's an intentional design mechanic. Of course your allies aren't going to interfere in your 1-v-1 with an opponent, they only start fighting if the opponent is locked onto them.
Also, just because we never see the Kaioshin create a planet doesn't necessarily mean they can't. Kami recreated the entire moon, and he's a much weaker god than the Kaioshin.
We don't know that Kai or Kaioshin can "create" planets outright, but we do know they can shape them out of debris and restore those that have been destroyed. Whis implied North Kai isn't very good at it.
And we know Beerus and Champa are stronger than their corresponding Kaioshin. We don't know if that's true for the other ten gods of destruction.

So an idea for Xenoverse or a similar thing I've had is in the Resurrection F story of Super where when Ginyu tries to bodyjack Tagoma, Towa makes him dodge with possession magic and Whis ends up being bodysnatched instead.
