Oh.
In fact, with the right set of Dragonballs, they can defuse him, cancel out his immortality, and then whoop some ass....
Or just call Zeno like they should have done. I gotta admit, I'm curious as to whether he can erase an immortal.
One Strip! One Strip! That would take the power of the Super Dragon Balls since I doubt any other set can forcibly defused Black and Zamasu or get rid of their immortality. Shenron can't effect people stronger than him and the Namekian dragon couldn't force Goku back to Earth. Also, getting the Super Dragon Balls isn't easy since they're scattered across two universes and none of the heroes can go between universes.

The last episode revealed that Black is actually another Zamasu in Goku's body, having switched places with him. Meaning Goku is in Zamasu's body. You know that part in the latest version of the Theme song where we see Zamasu falling backwards (which we interpreted as his symbolic fall into darkness? What we were really watching was the moment where Zamasu, in Goku's body killed Goku in Zamasu's body, meaning we've been watching the death of our hero the whole time. They hid it right in front of us.
One Strip! One Strip!I... can't say I would have come to that conclusion, so that's neat.
So then to recap:
- Zamasu believes mortals should be done away with.
- To do so he kills his master, travels through time, gathers the Super Dragonballs, wishes himself super-immortal.
- He finds another Zamasu and uses the Super Dragonballs to have that Zamasu steal Goku's body, thus creating Black Zamasu, and killing the Goku trapped in Zamasu's body
- Future Zamasu's plan required him and Black Zamasu to find Trunks's timeline. specifically because Beerus wasn't there, so Future Zamasu can't be from Trunks' timeline. So is there just "another" timeline that Future Zamasu is from that we never saw?
Also on the swap. The Goku he swapped with is the normal goku. Remember Present Zamasu was killed before he could carry out his plan. What would have happened is that he would have killed Gowasu, traveled a year into the future and swapped bodies with Goku (Aka the normal one that is the protagonist right now.)

And that's exactly why it won't happen.
Do you really think Toriyama is gonna let something like that go down.
No doubt he's already decided that Goku won't do that because it wouldn't be as fun as fighting Black and Zamasu himself. After all, he has to create tension somehow, and what better way then for the hero to do something fucking stupid again.
Right, that came off a little bitter, but my point is it's not going down.

So two random thoughts:
1) Why is Dende still small in the Buu saga? You'd think he'd be close to the size of an adult Namek by that time.
2) The earlier discussion about Black's identity, which led to some brief mentions about how Goku died in Trunks' timeline (if only to clarify that Black is possessing the current Goku's body, or an alternate version of it) got me to thinking:
We have confirmed that Goku got the heart disease on Yardrat right? I mean, I always just assumed that's where he got it since it's interesting that three years after coming back from there, he suddenly has a heart attack and dies. I mean, it's never mentioned if he can catch Earth diseases (he can be affected by the cold, but he's never sick during the run of the series), but I find it hard to believe sickness from Earth could affect him.
One Strip! One Strip!1. We don't know how long Namekian childhood lasts for, and it's possible that Dende is just short.
2. We never learn where Goku's heart virus came from. It can be assumed it was from Yardrat, but it's entirely possible that it was just an Earthly heart virus. No reason he couldn't catch it, not like Saiyan immune systems have ever been implied to be super strong.
Wow.
All these years I'd always assumed he got it from Yardrat.
And considering it's existence is only to keep Goku out of the fight (temporarily or permanently), I imagine Toriyama never even thought about where it came from, which means we'll never know......
One Strip! One Strip!

Wouldn't that make a gun that's also a grenade instead?
